Tanza (~tea girl~), Mona (wsprsweetlyofcottages) & moi (Marydon) having a fun day in Riverside CA.
Never passing up a moment to visit with my blogger gal pals when we hit the road, Mona was a must to have a moment of hugs with.
Tanza had to join me in my hat wearing fun ...
Could never pass up a hat moment ...
Moi & Mona ... she is the most precious, delightful lady ever. We met at Mona's charming home, so full of shabby chic & country delights to behold the eyes. She took us to her sons restaurant Bread & Jam in Riverside, a MUST to do if you are in the area. Pat & his wife were so sweet & have a wonderful restaurant ... THANK YOU both for the wonderful treat of lunch, we all enjoyed it greatly.
We popped over to visit the Mission ...
Another day Tanza took me to meet a lot of her friends. This is Donna, a real sweetheart. Her shop is so full of fun & fabulous gifts.
This is the town circle in Orange where many a Hollywood film has taken place. Such a peaceful & lovely place.
In Riverside we visited a cupcake award winner shop ... enlarge to view the fabulous delicacies they have created.
Tanza & myself in another antique shop ... boy, did we ever shop til you drop for 2 days! I wish I had taken pics of the dinner we had with Tanza's charming family & precious mother, Donna. We were all having such great fun I forgot. We did leave a few items for you in the shops ...
I also wish to THANK Donna, Tanza's mother. I had a grand time staying with her that week ... she is just the sweetest ever ... Can hardly wait for you all coming 'home' this summer.
Donna took me to Rogers Gardens, my oh my! What a decorator's delight & magical gardens to enjoy. This fuschia about knocked my socks off.
These are a few of the loves roses ...
This particular rose was a light cocoa pink color, so rich & elegant.
The last day Harold & I visited the Field Flowers in Carlsbad ... magical florals to behold the eye ... spring is alive in California.
I can never tell you enough about my time with Mona, I wouldn't trade it for the world ... I will hold her closely in my heart until we meet again.
Tanza, mother Donna & family are like family to us ... we are so tickled to have them in our lives ... every moment was filled with deep love & unforgettable treasured moments ...
