~ A Found Christmas Treasure ~ Prayers Needed
November 11, 1945
We just found this fold neatly in a box of paper/cards/etc. from Harold's parents
Simple, sweet ...
Harold would have been 6 yrs. old. What a gem to find his creation.
MERRY CHRISTMAS!

~ SPECIAL PRAYERS & CARD REQUEST ~
Today Anne @ annesphamily wrote ~
Hi sweet friends of mine:
I hope you ladies will help me out. Our billing rep., at my work place, who lives in Cheyenne WY has breast cancer and she is really having a struggle. I am providing her address and ask if you would spread the word for prayer and a card or letter of encouragement.
I hope you will encourage everyone you know to send a card or letter to Teresa.

Treasures from the past are the best treasures of all. How nice that they saved it. I think of all the little drawings and sketches that the children have done over the years that I've thrown away!
ReplyDeletePrayers are going up for Teresa as she struggles through this journey.
Hi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteIt's nice to know that you LOVE chocolate too:)
That is very cool to find the "Christmas treasure"!I love to keep drawings from the Grand daughter! They are priceless.
How are you feeling???
I'll pray for your friend! I think we could all use some prayers this year!
Warmest Christmas wishes.

I will try to get a card out to her today. If not today then tomorrow. By the way, I got a kick out of your comment over at 'Ash Tree Cottage' about 'stuffing a sock in our mouth to keep from gaining weight during he holidays!'
ReplyDeleteGive me until after Christmas and I am adding you to my blog roll. I love coming over her to see you even though I don't often comment. Merry Christmas, Marydon.

Hope you are having a wonderful day sweetie. I love you. Your lil sis, Sherry

Oh my gosh, that newspaper Christmas drawing truly is a treasure. I wonder if it was a child's Christmas gift to a loved one??? It's definitely a keeper. Thanks so much for sharing it with us! Theresa has been added to my prayer list and I will be keeping her in my thoughts and lifting her up in prayer every single day. I believe it is the greatest tool we have in our lives to help others and ourselves. Please keep us updated on how she is doing if you can. Big Hugs...
