This was a piece of truly insignificant tarnished silverplate, trust me ... I had it sitting on the deep freezer since we close down the shop.
I got this 'light bulb' idea to have Donnie (Brass & Copper Shop, Frederick, MD) paint it for me.
This is one of those 'look at me now' moments ... isn't she gorgeous!
Now to make her elegant & inviting ...
And look what I did with her for my foyer ...
... you can see Rebecca's card artwork
(http://rebecca-gatheryeroses.blogspot.com) tucked in the entry mirror ...
She sits upon a gorgeous hand woven piece brought back from Nova Scotia from my friend, Dottie.
Wow, it's a new you. I love the "do" keep it that way. I also like the new "thing-y" in the entry way - very creative.
ReplyDeleteHugs - Marie

ReplyDeleteOh Good Morning Sweetie... (any way it still is for me here in Phoenix.)
ReplyDeleteHow beautiful you look first of all. Love the new haircut, ofcourse because mine is short too. I love not having to take so much time to fix it anymore. Wash and blow it dry and go. Yippee. You look BEAUTIFUL Sis, just beautiful.
I love your newly painted serving dish. I am so tickled with this makeover. It is just gorgeous. Donnie did an awesome job. You go boy. I can't wait to see everything in its place. You are going to be exhausted before I even get there. Can you save some energy for me? Please??
Have a beautiful day sweetie. Love ya. Many hugs and much love, Your Sis, Sherry/Cherry Jelly
