Wellllllllll, almost!
It has been a very long 5 weeks ...
Minimal usage ...
A beautiful sight to behold ...
And one muddy mess in the process ..
Lead to the sweetest sound ...

Ha! Yes, flushing is a good thing :-)
ReplyDeleteSo glad that things are up and flushing again.
ReplyDeleteLOL!!!!!!!! Oh my word, yes, this sounds like a VERY good thing!! Hooray for flushing!!! ~tina
ReplyDeleteOh, my...YES...that is a very good sound!
ReplyDeleteMarydon,A few weeks back, you showed big ruts from a truck in your yard...was that what caused your septic problems?? No one should drive over the area of your septic or tiles. So glad you are back up and running. Smiles , Susie (She Junks)
ReplyDeleteHappy Flushing! Just know you are elated! Big Hugs!
ReplyDeleteOh. My...I bet that was like music to your ears!! Those kinds of things are a must do in getting fixed!!
ReplyDeleteOh- yeah- We have been through THAT nightmare! Glad it is fixed for you now!;>) Diana
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteYAYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYYY!
I know just how you feel. We lived in a home in the mountains when he were security/caretakers for a gated in area. The security/caretakers who lived there in the past never maintained things or told the board members that things had to be fixed.
We had to have a big old tanker truck and something come in from town to dig up the back yard and remove the stuff from that tank. My goodness what a mess.
And we have been 'lucky' (not) enough to have plumbing problems in other places. :(
Anyway, I am glad that all is well now for you. :
Happy Flushing. Take care, Janet W
oh myyyy. 5 WEEKS!!!!! last week with all the snow here it burst a city line to our work and we didn't have 'flushing' power all day. I told them I couldn't work in conditions like that!! they just laughed at me!
ReplyDeleteWe moved the laundry from the basement to the far end of our kitchen (yeah, we're getting that age!). I LUV hearing the washer and dryer work. I grew up using a wringer washer and hanging clothes in the dead of Iowa winter on the clothes line, hoping "freeze-drying" would eliminate SOME of the moisture...after which they were dried on clothes lines strung in the bedrooms. lol
ReplyDeleteWho would think something I take for granted could be so good! HAHA Glad you are back on line. sandie
ReplyDeleteYAY!! Glad y'all are back to normal. Hope it didn't set you back too far. $$$ :)))
ReplyDeleteSounds like a new septic system to me!! I can't believe it took that long! I'm so glad you like the rose doilies, I price them between $8-$14 depending on the size and intricacy of the crocheting...Well, I'll let you get back to flushing!LOL
ReplyDeleteCarol
was it a sewer or septic tank problems. Out here in the country we are on a septic tank .
ReplyDeleteIt has taken me some getting used to...different from living in the country.
but whatever, toilet problems are frustrating.
so flush flush flush to your hearts content.
YOU are just too funny!
ReplyDeleteSo enjoyed our visit today over the phone. What a hoot you are and you know how to brighten my day.
I feel more like myself after talking with you.
Tell Harold this ole h---y is sorry I did not call him while in South Carolina. I won't make that mistake again. hahaha
Love ya
Maggie
Very good news. Definitely a happy sound. Hugs to you and Harold!
ReplyDeleteI love a flushing toilet. Much more than a non flushing one.
ReplyDeletehow sweet the sound!
ReplyDeleteI know that feeling! I'm looking forward to our bathroom being done!
ReplyDeleteHoorah for flushing!
ReplyDelete:-)
Mary, I've left a comment on Kerrie's blog - and I am freshly amazed at God's gift of prayer. I can be a blessing to someone I have never met, through prayer! I know that God hears and answers - and I am asking Him for a tangible peace and strength for this precious lady and her husband. Any updates?
Well I'm glad to hear that you can finally flush again! LOL You know, I always say that I'd love to live in the old days except where bathrooms are concerned...love the modern convenience of a toilet that flushes! lol xoxo
ReplyDeleteFive weeks! What did you do? I would be living in the hotel down the street!! Happy the problem is solved for you!
