~ Winter or Spring ~ Love Is...
Somebody is getting itchy ...
... about spring arriving ...
I was sooo surprised to find these so very early, just blooming their little wee heads off ...
A few birds even have sat atop the birdhouse Joshua made in 5th or 6th grade ...
The kids decided to stop by for a snack ...
And then the most beautiful fluffy white
flakes decided to dress the earth in an
elegant gown of white ...
They were just gorgeous big soft beauties
falling gently ...
Making my day ...
I can sit all day with a cup of tea, 2 cookies & the fireplace burning, doing nothing but enjoying this
heavenly event of a day ....
As our dull winter landscape is so beautifully showing off her new attire ...
And then the dew kisses growth already showing ...
Love Is... ladies
Anne
Sherry
Some areas around here have daffodils already blooming ...
From this crazy winter!

Oh Marydon,
ReplyDeleteWhat lovely pictures! :)
Our weather here can't make up it's mind what to do. lol
We are expecting snow during this night and Sunday. Hopefully we will get the mountain total which is 10-14 inches. But I am thinking it won't happen. We sure do need it though. I will pray hard for it.
I sent you my number in an email. I hope you received it. Do give me a call some afternoon when you get a minute or two or ten, or an hour.
LOL I'd love to chat with you.
Have a great Sunday. Take care, Janet W
Hi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteI love the photos you're sharing with us today. We are kind of in between now aren't we, winter is still holding it's grip but the Spring want's to enter. Snow looks beautiful when it's falling silently like that.
Have a fantastic Sunday!
Eva
Oh, I wish primroses grew well here! I love them. I'm guessing my daffys are showing green under their protective coat of fallen leaves. Will be happy to see them in bloom again.
ReplyDeleteMarydon. How are you doing? Thank you for coming by My Tin Shack, I love visitors, but I have been such a slacker in posting. Thank you for your sweet comment and your support. Hugs Gail
ReplyDeleteOh dang it I forgot, I am so selfish these days.....I love Joshua's bird house. I have a Joshua also, he is all grown up and has given me 3 grandchildren. I so love the things he made me when he was little and I know this bird house is so precious to you, always putting a smile on your face each time you see it, thank you for sharing it so I could smile with you. Hugs Gail
ReplyDeleteOhhhhhh I know you are itching for Spring.. I can't wait to see your gardens this year!!
ReplyDeleteMarydon, I spotted a little flowerbed of daffadils popping up, when I walked with my sister . I am loving that things are trying to bloom, but I am afraid it may be too early. Let's hope for the best.Smiles to you, xo, Susie(She Junks)
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness! I do not think I have this one! It is so sweet and your other photos are so wonderful. I want Spring to get here. I have lots of work ahead of me! We have some raggedy bushes on the front that I want to take out! I want flowers everywhere! A vegetable garden! Ah...I am dreaming but once the weather is warmer I can get started with my garden project! Love and Hugs Anne
ReplyDeleteI've got more then itchy for spring, I have a winter rash. It's snow, and more snow here.

ReplyDeleteA beautiful snow storm really is amazing to watch isn't it.
ReplyDeleteWe have had way to dry of a winter, we need moisture or there will be many unhappy farmers when it's time to plant.
I love the little spring flowers!!
My hubby brought me home 2 hyacinths in a pot, just to make me smile. Cause, spring doesn't hit my area until June (tee, hee)

Hi Marydon! What lovely photos. We've had a strange "winter," too. It's felt more like spring, which is nice, but we managed to see a few snowflakes, too! Have a wonderful week!
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon, just stopping by to say how delightful your blog is. Thanks so much for sharing. I have recently found your blog and am now following you, and will visit often. Please stop by my blog and perhaps you would like to follow me also. Have a wonderful day. Hugs, Chris

We missed the snow so I am so happy your shared your view. Our flowers and trees are trying to buy here too - I'd still like one good snow, though.
ReplyDeleteYou are living in a winter wonderland! These photos are amazing. Thanks for posting them!
ReplyDeletexo,

Oh spring is coming and I am ever so glad. I adore your snowy scapes though.
ReplyDeleteBe blessed dear one!
Wow, what a contrast! I so can't wait for spring, but the coating of snow is lovely.
ReplyDeleteThanks for stopping by my blog. I've been so busy that I haven't had time to blog lately, except for today. :-)
Good Morning...
ReplyDeleteI just love primroses... I had several plants that came up for years and lost them last year. I think I need to pick up a few more as they are one of the first plants to get some spring color.
Good Morning Sweeti Sis...
ReplyDeleteOh what a photograph for my mind today. It is exquisite as it blankets the trees and ground for your eyes to see. I hope you remembered to catch a few flakes for me.
I see such Spring beauty popping up all over the place there at home. Look at all of the beautiful colors you are going to have very soon now. They are ready to put on their Spring Show. (All of you and dear Brother's work is going to be paying off.)
No cold weather here. We are expecting between 70-74 today and up into the 80's by the end of the week. Our Spring is going to be passed by once again I do believe.
Such a peaceful and serene post. I can see us sitting by the fireplace having a cup of tea, cookies and the love and laughter that we find in our hearts when we are together. I love you sweet Sis. All my love, Your Lil Sis, Sherry
Hi Marydon, I love watching the snow fall. Thanks for sharing your beautiful pictures!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs~~~ Daphne
I'm itchy for Spring too and not because I've been working around the Lantana. *giggle* I'll even settle for Springlike weather. It's only a few days away for us. :)
ReplyDeleteLuv & Hugs
Hi My Friend, You have such beauty all around and it is so inspiring. I could sit with tea and cookies and enjoy the scene you have set too.
ReplyDeleteYour pics are always beautiful.
Thank you for stopping by. Been so busy here and fighting some not so welcome migraine headaches. Better now.
Have a grand week.
Much Love, Celestina Marie
We've had the warmest winter I've ever known, including the three years in Tennessee. I've loved it, but know we will miss the water in the summer. Hugs to you and Harold!
ReplyDeleteWhat beautiful photos...and what contrasting weather! It's certainly been mild here in Florida! I haven't worn a coat all winter! ♥ I have a new post up this morning that I hope you'll stop by to see! Hugs! ♥
ReplyDeleteSuch lovely photos, Marydon.
ReplyDeleteOut here in West Texas, we are having lots of blowing dust that we generally have only in the spring. So dry and dusty and windy. We constantly pray for rain.
The little snows we've had have helped...just not nearly enuf.
xo bj
Absolutely lovely photos! The snow is SOOOO beautiful! I miss getting to see it! But I know you are anxious for the beauties of spring, which you have given us a glimpse of here today as well. They too are so lovely.
