~ Love Is... ~ SPRING? or a TEASE?
The birds are nesting, the ants are marching, the bees are buzzing. The flowers are all at least 2 weeks ahead of schedule, the cherry blossoms in Wash., DC will peak mid-week which is very early for them here. Such a sight to see.
The first thing we do when spring arrives is
pull out the lawn furniture & crank up the bbq.
I walk thru my gardens to see each bud as
it blossoms.
We are having a record breaking warm streak here in Maryland ... feels like June. Doors flung open to greet the warmth of the day, sleeping like a baby with the windows open all night ... absolutely awesome.
There is a magic about seeing the buds
bloom ...

ReplyDeleteI think it is spring! And I love your blooms. sandie
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love those firsts blooms of Spring. It's such a time of new life. We apparently skipped right over Winter in South Carolina this year and from the looks of it last week, hopped right into summer. Mid 80's all week so we've had our AC cranked up over a month ahead of schedule.
ReplyDeleteLove the photos! Have a wonderful week ahead.
We're having the same gorgeous weather here in the Midwest, too! It's just wonderful! We keep having record high temps!
ReplyDeleteAw honey what a beautiful walk through your garden. I can just see that big smile on your face as you stop to capture the beauty of spring.
ReplyDeleteYou really have been having some warmer weather. I am glad I know how you love your flowers.
Can you believe three years already passed. Incredible. What a blessing you have been to all of us in blog land.
Tomorrow Clint gets the news about his Kidneys. I did not sleep last night so I may be up blogging all night. I know you would want to know. Hopefully when we talk I will have good news instead of bad.
Love ya
Maggie
Hello Sweet Sis...
ReplyDeleteI am right there walking beside you. I can see these gorgeous blooms popping up and smiling away. (I am still waiting on that bicycle though. Waiting, waiting, and waiting.)
So beautiful, cold rainy here and even hail this morning. Quite a change from the 80s we were having last week.
I love your share my precious Sis. I miss you and love you. All my love, your lil Sis, Sherry
Just beautiful! Have not put up my post yet. I am so sad. Hugs Anne
ReplyDeleteI am up and posting my Love is... today! Hugs Anne
ReplyDeleteHow pretty, Marydon! It's in the high 70s and supposed to get in the 80s today! I've got the air conditioning on! :)
ReplyDeleteBe a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
Beautiful flowers, Marydon! Spring is coming early it seems for everyone! A lot of happy people out there, welcoming the flowers and warm sunshine....and worrying about it being really hot this summer! But, you never know. It could be relatively mild straight through. We can hope! (Especially me, here in AZ...I would be happy with just 90's this summer, that's for sure!) :-)
ReplyDeleteWe are having a nice steady rain this morning! It is lovely!!!
ReplyDeleteYesterday I noticed our redbuds have blossomed! And I love the entrance to spring!
Linda
It just may be a tease!
ReplyDeleteWe had a very mild winter and beautiful temps for about 3 weeks and had thought we missed winter but went right into spring.....the fruit trees bloomed along with most everything else....THEN this past week winter showed up! Rain (which we need badly) and cold temps knocked all the lovely blooms to the ground....
Crazy weather! Hoping I can get outside before Easter and clean the gardens and seating areas up. But then last Easter was the first in 17 yrs we've lived here that we were all stuck inside due to weather. Hope it doesn't repeat itself this year.
SO enjoyyour temps while you can!
*hugs*deb
Hello Marydon,
ReplyDeleteLovely blooms! Could you please email me?

Gabriela
Beautiful, beautiful! Here in my east Tennessee, spring is in full force!
ReplyDeleteYou are such a joy. Thanks for being "you".
Yes, it was an unusual winter for us. I hope we can go right into Spring w/o any flashbacks to Winter.
ReplyDeleteEverything is so beautiful with all the blooming going on.
Happy Spring!
Melinda
