Mrs. Bun-bun decided to nest in our neighbor's dog pen ...
Just around the corner our neighbor's buttercup field & horses ...
our resident goldfinch & cardinal ...
our neighbor's backyard at 7PM daily ...
they are such an awesome sight ...
some of my new late blooming irish ...
that I had nearly forgotten about ...
,y gorgeous rose on the trellis ...
more columbine coming up ...
planted last fall ...
another of the late blooming iris ...
the geraniums are taking off beautifully ...
I wintered most of these in the garage ...
they are doing quite beautifully ...
showing off the rich colors ...
in the geranium garden ...
the roses in the first season are exquisite ...
these peonies are still showing off ...
if you look closely behind the white peony you will see a gorgeous red on the left & a pretty pink on the rear right that have surprised us ...
our new bird bath for the garden ...
the columbine were planted last fall ...
such lovely new colors for the garden ...
they will reseed & become profuse over the years ...
the new patio table stand & planter for 3 flowers ...
still yet another peony I had forgotten about. I also see about a 1/2 dozen more wee ones that will hopefully bloom next year ... so exciting the anticipation.
even more iris ...
such a variety of shades in this one ...
this is my favorite iris of all, the softest pinky peach ...
another stately lady still standing time ...
as we drove north in Maryland. I can never see enough of these beautiful
structures, so painstakingly constructed ...
by weathered hands of so many.
In case you are wondering ... the previous post that was 'funny', dumped the pictures on me ... maybe another day.

The baby bunnies are so cute! Love the deer but they will be wondering into your yard before long and eat all of your beautiful flowers! They chomped down my hostas last year when we were on vacation and they didn't come back this year the way they usually do at all. Your flowers are absolutely beautiful! Love the old barns too!

Mother Nature at her best is indeed right!! So many beautiful photos of God's creations...bunnies, deer, flowers! My lilies, irises, peonies, etc are just now forming buds so you're way ahead of us in the blooming department. Can't wait until my gardens have some colour in them again:-) xoxo
ReplyDeleteHi Sweet and Dear Marydon..
ReplyDeleteOh my gosh... your posies and just spectacular. Nothing here yet, to speak of in the annual department, but the rhodies and HUGE and deeee.lish. When I go to town, there's a road that's just filled with them all in bloom. And, a fence that they've trained ivy over in an espalier style. I covet it every time I drive by.
Have a wonderfully fabulous weekend!
Miss you..
xoxoxo
