And ice cream we had! along with cookies & sodas & donuts & cupcakes & popcorn ... oops! & Cheetos!
It was a stifling week.
We had the kid-lings last week & what a week we had. They so enjoyed the pool next door ... Alyssa on ladder (close to in the pool as she gets), Ansel & Tatiana. Mackenzie & I played on the deck ...
Then we were off to 6 Flags for a day of screaming fun ... oh, what fun those roller coaster rides. I did one trip & was done ... about tore up my arthritic spine ... boo-hoo! I so love these rides. Poppy came home battered & aching, tho ...
A leisurely ride on the train to cool off that horribly hot day ...

And what a way to cool off ... it was blistering hot that day!!!

And this roller coaster ride was awesome ...
Mackenzie Paige was with us for 2 days of the kids being home with us ... what a kick & great time they had playing with our dumpling ...

Hello Marydon, so you are still experiencing that hot weather. It must be getting everyone down. Thank God you got out of the house and had some fun. Icecream is a blessing, is cooling off our tummy and in taste.

Oh you are so brave to ride those rides with the littles! I don't think I would be able to walk again, but I used to love it. Looks like you had a wonderful time despite all the heat...smiles all around.

ReplyDeleteI love seeing your faces. You and Harold look like you are having such a wonderful time. I love that wave from the top of the roller coaster. He is one brave soul. You wouldn't get me up there, with my dizzy body, I would not make it off. That is for sure.
Love that pool shot as well. All kids love to swim don't they? Wish you lived closer, they could swim away in our pool, it doesn't get alot of activity, as our kids have already been in school now for 2-3 weeks.

What a blessing those kids are. It's worth few aches and pains to have fun with them. Those roller coasters are not much fun for me anymore...and you wouldn't catch me in the last car:(
