Good morning, sweet pinkies ~
(PS Blogger is not letting me comment on a LOT of your pages. Sorry, I'm trying)
Sharing one of the most beautiful welcomings of spring ...
Take a moment & enjoy the fragrance ...
Our computer decided to 'dump' EVERYTHING, files/documents/pictures & our website ... anything it could. It has taken (4) weeks to get the website partially up & (2) weeks ongoing to restore retrieving when possible all else. My pictures are still 'out there somewhere'.
Have a beautiful near-spring day ~
Please join Miss Beverly @ http://howsweetthesound.typepad.com/ & our other pinkies for a beautiful PINK SATURDAY.

Hi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteI'm so sorry about your computer. Mines goin' on the fritz, too. I know I won't lose everything, as my sweet hubby can retrieve anything (he's a certified forensics examiner/collector), but with our lousy finances lately it's tough tryin' to rebuild and buy new parts. I hope you're feeling well, and are you thinkin' of comin' out here for the luncheon on April 9th? It would be so cool to see you again.
Lot's of hugs,
Meri
Oh I am so sorry to hear that your naughty computer misbehaved. I hope all will be righted soon sweet friend. But in the meantime you are teasing me with gorgeous Spring pinks I see!
ReplyDeleteI loved you in all your hats...you cute thing you!!!!
Hugs to you today
Oh no! Computers can be so mean to us!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing I love more than tulips. I can't wait for them to be coming up in my yard.
Oh Marydon- computers are wonderful until they hiccup. Girl, check into an external hard drive. I know I am going to be getting one soon. It just plugs into your usb port. Then if your pc crashes you still have all your files.
ReplyDeleteHugs-Tete
Oh you poor child, that is a lot of grief to go thru with the stinking computer! I hope you get your pictures back! Have a blessed weekend! Big HUGS!

Marydon, I had the very same thing happen to me a few weeks ago....I found my pictures scattered about in a horrible mess and I am not sure how I will get them back where they are supposed to be.
ReplyDeleteI will have to go back to some of my past posts as Donnie told me where to start looking and I will write and tell you what she told me as I can't just remember at the moment! :(
Jil

ReplyDeleteIt is coming, it is coming. A gorgeous share today. I so love to see your pinks, as it is SO you. My pinkalicious diva.
Hope you had a good day today. I could smell these sweet tulips before I even opened the page, and the little girl reminds me of our little Destyne smelling the flowers on our anniversary. Just precious sweet sis.
Thank you for the beautiful share today. Many hugs and so much love. Your Lil Sis, Sherry
The tulips are lovely! Sorry to hear about your computer issues, they are great... when they work:@)
ReplyDeleteI am sorry to hear about the computer malfunction. They are such fickle things. Hate them but cannot do without them. Take care and have a great weekend:)
ReplyDeleteRegardless of all your loss and frustrations, you came up with a lovely punk post. Those tulips are breathtaking. I am sure sooner or later I will have a similar problem. I would have to take it in as I know nothing about them. There are better days ahead.
ReplyDeleteOooh sorry to hear about your computer problems. We all have become so dependent on them that when there is a glitch, it's miserable. Lovely pinks, especially the one of that sweet little girl sniffing the tulips ~ so precious!
ReplyDeleteLove,
Susan and Bentley

Hello Marydon: I found out about your blog through Kathy. You have a great blog. Loved those tulips today.
ReplyDeleteOh gosh, losing all the files and photos must have been traumatic. I would feel so TERRIBLE if that happened to me. Hope you have been able to recover everything.
Take care and have a great Saturday. Susan
I hate it when things like that happen. But your pink pictures are beautiful!
ReplyDeleteSo sorry to hear about your computer, Marydon! I hate it when that happens! I especially hate loosing the photos I have stored on it!
ReplyDeleteYour photos are so pretty, I'm so ready for spring!
Wishing you a lovely "Pink" weekend!
Cheers!
Tina
Oh how devastating. Sometimes you just want to kick those darn computers in the guts.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of tulips are still beautiful! I often "borrow" pretty pictures from Google Images when I need a better(prettier) example than I can provide!
I will have to go and visit Sheila and her mirrors. Have a great weekend and I wish you all the best in the retrieval of your pictures!
happy PS! sorry to hear about your computer! I can relate the feeling of losing emails and photos.. hope all back to norm soon! have a great weekend!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful spring blooms, thanks! I just went through loosing everything, but got it back, and still trying to save over 80,000 images one at a time. Backing up to disc, or storing off the machine is a thing I wished I had done long ago. I feel your pain.

ReplyDeleteOh computer woes! I know all about them. FInally I am getting some resructure. I need prayer. This sinus/allergy crude is wrecking havoc with me and my dryer went out! But we found a cheap one today at Best Buy! Praise the Lord! Laundromat tonight, the new dryer Monday! Hee Hee Hugs Anne
ReplyDeleteSorry about the computer woes. I hope you end up getting all of your photos back.
ReplyDeleteThe pink tulip photos are lovely.
Oh, how gorgeous! I hope we will see these beautiful tulips soon, though your snowflakes remind me that it is still winter.

I think computer problems are the most aggravating thing too! Hope you solve all of yours. I love the tulip pictures~a perfect welcome of things to come and Spring!! Thanks for visiting and the sweet comments, hope you have a wonderful pink week!
ReplyDeleteBeautiful photos Marydon, beautiful!!! Oh...man. That totally stinks when the computer decides to do that, we've lost alot of pictures over the years because of that. We now download every once in a while to CD when we think about it. I hope you can recover some of yours. I'm glad to hear that the comment thing is a blogger issue, I've had the same problem and was blaming my computer!!! You have a lovely Sunday sweetie!! :)
ReplyDeleteOh sweet tulips are the prettiest flower. Particularly in pink.
ReplyDeleteIf you are a dog lover please visit my Metis Linens blog as Andrea and I are having a dog themed giveaway.
Marydon-Technology can be such a pain and such a joy at times! Sorry you are having troubles with it! Sometimes I think I should not depend on my computer so much! Thanks for your comment and I got so tickled at your saying first grand was "green at the gills". I grew up with no cousins and never even missed having them. I knew I would have to share my grandmother with them so it didn't bother me :) In the end, I don't care what our new grandbaby call me, as long as he calls me something!! Hope you are having a good weekend!
ReplyDeleteThose are prety Spring pinks!
ReplyDeleteI hope you're having a lovely pink weekend!!
ReplyDeleteWhat a bummer! You and Sherry both had technical difficulties this week.
ReplyDeleteLove the blooms! Bring on Spring!
PINK TULIPS! Perfect...such a sweet gift of SPRING.
