~ Our Visitor(s) ~ Quickie Giveaway
As I sat drinking my morning cup o'tea, my dream
came true ... a gorgeous hark is sitting
on the bird feeder. As I glanced up, BE STILL MY
HEART!!! Camera!! Oops! camera on kitchen table ... how do I get off my chair without scaring him. After a couple minutes VERY quietly I slinked out to kitchen to get my camera that is ALWAYS on my desk, harumph!
He just sits there staring into the house, I snap the picture & he flew away. I was so excited ... you can never imagine!
So as the sun rose & my day started, I glimpsed at the awesome blossoms ...

ENDS Friday, April 29
The final autumn/winter leaf gently rests in the bird bath waters ...
The skies are azure blue, the flag proudly waves in my garden ...
Ms.squirrel & wee bird look at one another during their breakfast break ...
My tulips open their petals reaching to the heavens ...
The hyacinth & crocus fragrances linger in the morning air ...
Mrs. robin has returned to once again nest just above the pergola, amongst the beauty
of the cherry blossoms ...
Miss weeping cherry has blossomed her second year, so delicate ...
The dogwoods are full ...
... & ever so elegant, my favorite tree as is the lilac ...
And as dusk gently graces the horizon, our neighbors field is beautifully dotted with the herd of deer at 7:30PM daily.

ReplyDeleteI once had a hawk sitting on my back fence and oohed and awed over him....until he swooped down and caught a sparrow. I was in shock! The squealing from the sparrow was aweful, thank goodness he flew away with it. I guess when I say I feed wild birds, I really do fed all the wild birds!
Love the squirrel and birdie photo.

Such beautiful signs of Spring in your area! It's been raining for the last 4 days here and cold, even chances of flurries tonight...I won't complain, though, not with all the tornadoes going on all over the place!! That picture of the squirrel and birdie is too cute:-) My tulips and daffodils still haven't bloomed and the trees have no buds as yet. Hopefully soon!! xoxo

Hi sweetie,
ReplyDeleteThings looks so lovely at your place! You are so green there!
The hawks have been flying in the field behind our place and I will see them dive and the go up with a vole in their beaks. I sure hope they stick around, our vole problem here in Idaho is out of control.
I love the picture of that darling little bird and squirrel. SO cute!
love to you,
Those tulips are absolutely gorgeous...I've never seen such a beautiful color combination as that. It is so pretty!
ReplyDeleteAs for the azure blue skies; can't even complain about God's choice of color--Carolina Blue :)

The deer is an awesome sight. I miss that from living in the country in Ohio. The deer used to come by every morning and evening in their herd. Just gorgeous.
Hope your weather is calm for awhile.
Have a wonderful weekend.
