~ I Love To Play With PINK ~ Saturday ...
So what do you think?
Please join Miss Beverly, our sweet hostess,
& the other lovely pinkies for Pink Saturday.
I added little beads of 'pink bling gems' to many of the cupcakes, tucking them on bows & flowers in the cupcake designs.
Now we all know & love our wonderful Sissie. She was kind enough to share with
me a tutorial on the 'how to' make florettes.
I've been kind of tickled they turned out nicely.
Inside each florette I placed more pink bling gems.
It took me a couple of weeks to decide what I would use for the bottom of this lamp shade ...
I love it.
Do you? ... & here is the other one ~
Now my other question is this ... do you like the pink & white florette in the middle?
I added pink bling gems in the center of each daisy.
The bling just made the daisies sparkle ...
Over the pink beading trim I used white
gimp. I love this gimp & use it often.
Any comments will be greatly appreciated before I decide to put them in my shop.
Happy Pink Saturday, my friends!

ReplyDeleteThose are both just adorable and yes they should definately go into the shop.... Me too, me too... I would love to know how to make the florettes....
ReplyDeleteThese are so PRETTY Marydon!! LOVE them!!!.. I tried, recently, to simply repaint my OWN lampshade, and I'm afraid it didn't work well. I'm wondering if I should have wet it down first??.. or what?.. I couldn't stand the fumes on top of it, so I think I'm just going to pick up some paint, and use the brush-method instead. We'll see how that goes.. LOVE THOSE CUPCAKES!!! Beautiful job on BOTH lamps! Have a great weekend! ((hugs)) ~tina
ReplyDeleteThey are both soooo lovely! The finery and bling are gorgeous! They will appeal to both girls and women with that feminine touch! Pink is a beautiful color!

My goodness Marydon...they are just delicious. Can a lamp be delicious? I think so! Yes, I plan on repainting the saying. It reads like this? "Is there a kindlier place than a porch?" The letters were large and it took me a long time to paint it and I kind of dread it but I sure am going to try. :)
ReplyDeleteWhat great lamp shades!! You are truly creative!! I love both of them....especially the ones with the cuppy cakes!! :)
