During Easter week a special tea party for our wee ones ...
was a delight for the kid-lings ...
we use all our good china, depression glass & crystal ... we had fresh fruits, juices, candy & tea cookies ...
& G'ma Maggie's (their gr-gr-g'ma) sugar bowl (that I treasure) ...
& we invited Mary Kay (my nabor) & her 2 darling gr-kid-lings Caris & Olivia to join us ... in Ansel's picture you can see the flowers that these darling girls brought to me ... clutched so sweetly in their wee hands ...
Alyssa was so tickled with her cupcake creation ...
Tatiana is still working on her cupcake creation ...
Ansel was content with his creation. The kid-lings baked the pineapple cupcakes. They were given frosting & lots of choices for decorative cupcake candies to enjoy. We had Ansel say our blessings, then placed our napkins on our laps & I (Mimi) was in charge of the teapot. What a delightful, fun time we all had. After our tea was over, we all went to our backyard where the kid-lings had a grand time jumping rope & swinging.
I had the fabulous good fortune of winning one of Marilyn's divine pillowcase sets. She crochets exquisitely & I would always pine away on her beauties she would present to us in her blog ~ ourvictoriancottage.
To my surprise & absolute thrill I received this darling little needlepoint bag also. They both are just fabulous in our blue bedroom.
I was so glad Marilyn sent me this note so I will take tender loving care for a very long time, of these lovelies.
Don't you love this design?
Here they are displayed upon the bed so elegantly. You are a gem, Marilyn, I am so honored & appreciate your gift.
And out of the 'pink' came another parcel. I said 'what the heck?' Look at that rose packaging for me ...
& this gorgeous card ...
that accompanied this gorgeous doily. It is so me! Pink & green! I think I had kiddingly said to Deb something about if it needed a new home when she shared her find on her blog ...
Well, Deb @ garagesalegal sent this precious vintage piece to little old me ... & I am thrilled over the moon. It looks so beautiful accenting my Waterford pieces.
Bless you Deb, I adore it. You are so kind to share this with me. Thank you ever so much.
Watch for our new giveaway celebration coming soon. It's a beauty!
Have a beautiful day.

I don't get to do much visiting at all lately since I'm doing a mission for my church, sugar. It's a telephone mission and I'm on for several hours a day helping with family search. I've only got a few more months though so it should be quieter around her. Hahaha, or so I THINK!
