Mackenzie loved the Fall Festival at Butler's Orchard in Germantown, MD
This is an event that draws thousands for 2 days each year
They have food, bands, tons of children's activities, hay rides to the pumpkin patch, slides, picnic areas ... amazing what they share
This is just a lovely farm as we drove thru the countryside
Some trees have come full bloom already, we had such a hot dry summer
My dogwoods are 1/2 dressed
This is my favorite part of the season
Enjoying the crisp dewey morns
My time with God
Enjoying the wonderful artwork He has created
For me to enjoy
Mackenzie in the pumpkin patch, she wasn't so sure about the straw on the ground.
Checking the mums, my future gardener
Enjoying the park we went to for about an hour. It is soooo decorated for the children to romp thru
My new plant this year tucked gently around my geranium
These are new to the garden this year also, they just add such a lovely punch of color
Our Cecil Brunner still bringing us such beautiful blossoms. I hope my Mother & G'ma Maggie are looking down & enjoying them. They had white ones in their gardens.
So pretty how the rose cascaded off the arbor into the dogwood
Dottie & Floyd sent me this luscious bouquet for my birthday
I am going to find out what the name of this exquisite rose it, spectacular colors
My sister Carolyn & Mike made my day with all these gorgeous pinks. Is there any other color?!
Sherry-sis sent the most beautiful hydrangea teapot to go in the hydrangea bedroom that we shared with you a week ago or so. If you haven't taken a peek, do so. It is our pride & joy of the new redo's. The box was so pretty I tied tulle around it to cover the ad, tucked ina silk flower & wah-lah! another touch for the room.
