On a crisp autumn morn. We so appreciate your continued prayers, notes & love ... as you know things have been rather medically challenging around here these past few months for us. Still a long road to travel ...
We needed to just get away to clear our heads & be alone ...
So we took off for a beautiful ride with God & nature ...
This is the Susquehanna River, west branch ...
heading the to NW corner of PA. ...
We will post for a few days this jaunt for you to enjoy ...
Giving you a change of scenery from all the Christmas shares ...
Enjoy!
Know we truly appreciate each of you ... all our love & appreciation.

ReplyDeleteThere is nothing like getting out of your house and looking around at life to help you get away from your own problems. So sorry your suffering from health problems, they effect us all as we age...and Ray and I are getting there also. I enjoyed my roam with you. Loved all the photos and reading about bygone folks and days. It is wonderful in America how you can stop and read about someone no longer here. I pray for blessings of health peace and love into your life. xxx
ReplyDeleteBeautiful drive and "things" along the way. My favorite are the little churches. I always find the small, old ones to be so nostalgic and quaint...MAY God be with you and grant you healing and strength as you go forward during this Christmas season.
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon, I came home from the nursing home and decided to read some of my friends blogs. Yours was special because it took me on a journey to places that I have never been able to travel to. I always enjoy those two lane drives where the traffic is not as fast and you can see more of the country side. Know that you and Harold are in my thoughts and prayers. Take care my friend. Hugs and Prayers from your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteEnjoyed the little scenic trip with you. It always helps to try and get away from all that "stinking thinking". Maybe things will be more clear to you and let go and let God. Love u both.

Sweet Marydon....
ReplyDeleteWOW! Truly beautiful and amazing. Love seeing the old churches, barns and countryside.. As you know, things don't look like that out here, in the wild west. ;-)
So happy that you had a little get-away. It's good for your-whole-self, isn't it?
Praying for you dear, dear girl.
Big huggies and lovies too,
S
