The serenity of the country roads we both so enjoy ...
The wonder of what this building held in its time ...
The hard work that goes into building these log cabings & the memories of life within ...
The following 8 pictures are in the 'Grand Canyon' of PA. A few years ago I shared the Grand Canyon of VA with you. Such beauty abounds ...
I can't imagine living waayyyy down there ...
The river that winds thru this canyon is magnificent ...
So sad that the buildings are let go ...
What a great idea for the parking meters. These 'baskets' can be filled all year round to gussy up the city.
This cemetery had several Civil War graves ... God bless their souls as they now rest in peace.

I love drives like this...just take off and go exploring. I love all the big old barns, we had a big red one on our farm when I was a kid. Thanks for the ride, and you take care and have a wonderful month! :)
ReplyDeleteI enjoy the simple sights found in the country. I, too, wonder, about old houses, and love the beauty of small, rural churches.
