Our master bath was originally 2 separate areas so we knocked out the wall to adjoin into a larger more attractive room The walls are a very soft shrimpy pale pink.
HELP BEAT CANCER! This is cancer awareness month.
The lights are actually lamp shades that Donny @ Brass & Copper Shop in Frederick, MD created for us.
The beautiful beaded & embroidered soft creamy curtains I am using over the windows & the shower are from BBBeyond.
I took a curtain panel & draped it over the window,
puddling the curtains in front of the shower
This border extends into our master suite
The vanity is new, I love the twist trim
How it opens up the room, gives depth &
light into the vanity area, is fabulous
The sewing box was mine that I had my
precious friend Celeste @ http://larearose.blogspot.com/
paint. Isn't it just dreamy? She sure
has that touch for roses, doesn't she!
The old salad jar was inspired for me to
create after viewing all the beauties that
my sweet friend Sandi creates @ http://waysidetreasures-sandi.blogspot.com/
most elegant romantic doors, ever. This is Provence.
It allows openess, light & beauty to extend between the
master bath & suite.
I love to just go sit up there & LOOK at this door & the
changes ...
The mirror I found in my friend Judy's antique shop.
Judy owns the Westminster Antique Mall, Westminter, MD.
I saw it & said 'THAT'S mine, where's Judy!' She gave me a fabulous 'deal' on this beauty.
A closer look at the beading & embroidery on the
curtains ...
I didn't know what to put on this wall & remembered I had this thrown on the freezer from when we closed down all our shops ... it blended beautifully!
These pictures are not expensive yet added a feminine touch ... & of course, one has red-hair ... had to do that.
It all pulled together ...
There's that red-haired lovely!
A touch of 'pretty' for the closet door ...
This has surpassed even my wildest dreams of what I could create in these 2 rooms, coming together ...
What do you think ...
Still have to have a silhouette here & there ... she was a perfect fit for the room ...
The vegetable dish had a broken lid, but she sits beautifully on the cake stand ... love the sweet delicate roses.
Thank you for joining me on PINK SATURDAY.

ReplyDeleteOh Sis Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday and what a BEAUTIFUL share. OMG I so love the new door. It is so elegant and I can just see a silhouette in the light. How beautiful, it is even more than you described to me. I SO love it.
I love the new vanity also. I love the turned and twisted look to the wood. You have such GREAT taste. I would not change a thing. It is just perfect. I so adore the curtains with the touches of roses spread out. Oh Sis, so beautiful.
Be still my little heart. I just adore the changes, and can't wait to see in person in the Spring.
Love the red head. Yes I sure do.
Thank you for sharing my sweet SIS. A beautiful, beautiful makeover. I love it. I am clapping, clapping, clapping. Take a bow please.
Love ya SO much. Your Lil Sis, Sherry

Marydon,
ReplyDeletevery lovely! Thank you so much for taking time to stop by my blog and for the wonderful pumpkin recipes! I really appreciate it. :-)
Kathie
Marydon, your bath redo is just perfect. I love the way the curtains hang, romantic and inviting.
ReplyDeleteYour lamps are just the right fit for the new decor.
I must tell you that I love the look of things that are natural instead of made to look like something else. That being said, I love the wreath and the way the vines each go their special way.
Happy Pink Saturday to you and yours. I hope you will forgive me for not being around much lately when it comes to blogging. I have been so very busy but have missed everyone so much. Take care, Char
Your new bath is so lovely! So many pretties in one room, a gal could sit :-) and not be bored!
ReplyDeleteNot just beautiful --but elegant indeed... That's the prettiest 'foo-foo' bathroom I have ever seen. I assume it's your bathroom --and not your hubby's... Of course, my hubby wouldn't mind 'foo foo' --so maybe your hubby doesn't mind either... It is gorgeous for sure. Thanks for sharing!!!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Betsy
Absolutely beautiful, love the curtains, so delicate!
ReplyDeleteHappy Pink Saturday!
Love it all....the pastel pink is perfect if you want my opinion.
ReplyDeleteOur master bath and hallway bath also have 'two rooms'. But I prefer it that way since Bud can do 'his thing' in one room closed off, while I'm at the vanity doing 'my stuff'. LOLOLOL
Love the lamp shades most.
It's a love remodel, honey. I especially like the embroidered curtains. I'm going to try and find some at BBandB.
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Connie
It's just beautiful Marydon!
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteI just discovered your Blog and enjoyed looking at all the interesting pics and info you have. You purchased several items from my Angel Baby Creations site a while back, so it was a pleasure to actually see your name again. I'll be following your blog too now--I've really got to start one, but I just haven't made the time and effort yet. Have a great evening, Peggy Renie
pretty pink you got for your bathroom. Just plain and simple. HPS 2 u.
ReplyDeleteNancy
HI MARYDON<

It is amazing!!!
time for more company!!
hugs,
jamie
Bravo, Marydon! This room is just superb!! I love it.
ReplyDeleteI'm sooo glad you left the mirror in its gilt state ~ I think it looks so rich and really stands out in there. Beautiful cabinetry and love your choice of drapes and how you puddled those over the shower curtain. I purchased a sewing machine drawer from Celeste that is very similar to yours for my sweet mom ~ we both have a thing for storage boxes/compartments. That frosted door is stunning. And I must remember to use a cake stand in MY bathroom! What a clever idea!
You did a beautiful job! Now rest and enjoy it!
Happy PS!
Big TX Hugs,
Stephanie
