& deep appreciation for your wonderful friendship. Each of you are so very special to me, in ways you will never know.
Thank you.
The orange flower is from my G'ma Maggie's gardens of many
years ago. They were right beside the sun porch steps.
When we closed up house when G'ma became an angel, I
dug them up & brought them home to enjoy.
Our Primroses continue to bloom, which is
unusual ... I am so tickled.
A girl can never get enough PINK, even in her
gardens.

This is a close up of G'ma Maggie's flower.
Will you please accept this rose?

ReplyDeleteYour flowers are beautiful, Marydon! I envy you having some of your grandma's flowers. I was to young and not into gardening at all when my grandma moved out of her house to move in with my parents. I'd give anything to have some of her beautiful flowers now. Happy PS!

My favorite is the tiny dark blue flower with the yellow center, I've never seen one like it. I think there are some black eyed susans in there, as well?

Hi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteThe gorgeous flowers you share today and so beautiful and welcomed. So glad you have transplanted your grandmas flowers to enjoy. I am sure she looks down and smiles to see them loved by you.
We are trying to keep ours alive in the very HOT temps for the 15th straight day and 20 total so far over 100 degrees. Yesterday was 107and counting. I know Sherry has even higher.
Enjoy safe travels and stay cool.
Thank you for stopping by my studio and your kind words.
Love ya, Celestina Marie
I envy you having so many pretty, different flowers. I have had some, but the heat wave took care of them. Always enjoy seeing what beauty others have.
ReplyDeleteI have a few sad roses in my garden as well, but they look nothing like yours...Impressing
ReplyDeleteYour garden is blooming wonderfully. Heard on the news yesterday we are going to have a green tomato summer. Good thing I didn't plant tomatoes!
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteBeautiful flowers! I adore your green thumb.
Great tunes!!! ☮
Dee
There really is nothing prettier than a fresh rose. Your flower photos are so pretty. As it continues to be hotter than it should be around here, I remind myself that at least I can look out and see all that color in my yard. I'll take the summer heat (as long as the a/c works) over the brown/gray drab winter any day!
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the pink roses Marydon!
