First the heat pump goes out ... it is 28 & windy
Then the telephones quit working ... (tho Vonage got right on the problem & will have it fixed in a couple of days, love cell phones)
Next the tankless water heater quit giving HOT water ... oh, fun!
And tonight hubby says 'I found a little water where the old hot water heater used to be ... well, I went down to look & it isn't a LITTLE bit of water, we have one huge water mess & have to empty the storage room!
Oy!!

I'd say it never rains but it pours but that might not be what you want to hear right now.....lol....Hope everything gets fixed fast especially the heat pump. Brrrr.....
ReplyDeleteI do find things go wrong on weekends and usually in a group. Hopes and prayers that all will be fixed as soon as possible.
ReplyDeleteI'm with you and Andrea on cinnamon and pecan pie. Only thing better than the scent would be time spent with sweet friends and a yummy treat. Lots of hugs to you and Harold and take very good care of your precious selves.
Your weekend sounds like the one John and I had last weekend. We had a leak in our 400 ft. of water line (from the street to the house) and had to have that replaced and it rained cats & dogs the day they did it! I should have made mud pies!!!
ReplyDeleteHope you get back to normal very soon. Take care.
Oh my goodness, Marydon! Everything happened at once. I'm so sorry to hear all the trouble you've had. I hope all things get fixed quickly for you.
ReplyDeleteOh Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteAnd this is after we talked tonight. I am SO sorry that this is happening, and yes when it rains, it does pour. We talked about coming in threes, and you have already had yours, so let's move on now. NO MORE...NO MORE...
Do you need to borrow my galoshes? I haven't needed them since I moved out here to the desert.
I wish I was there, I could help you bail the water. We would have SO much fun, and laughter, yes lots of laughter.
I love you sweet sis. Hang in there. I am sure that sunshine is just around the corner. I could bottle you up some and mail it to you, we are expecting 75-77 degrees this week. Yeahhhh.
Talk to you tomorrow. I love you, and miss you SO much. Many hugs straight to you. All my love, Your Lil Sis, Sherry
Oh my goodness!! I am so sorry!! Our hot water heater went out a few months ago as well. Luckily we were still in the 80's. But I will say you never appreciate things like that until it goes out!! I hope everything gets fixed soon!!
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteI am praying that it all gets solved--and quick! And that you will be surrounded in the Lord's protection.
XO
Cindy
Donnnie is right, when it rains it pours. Always something with our lives Luckily we have our sweet hubby's to help out as well as the kids and grands! Love and Hugs Anne

ReplyDeleteThey say things happen in threes and I think you got all 3 at once. Hope everything is fixed quickly.
ReplyDeleteYikes....I will definitely be praying! Life certainly can be an adventure....one we sometimes do NOT want to participate in!
ReplyDeleteHugs, love, and lots of prayers,
andrea
Oh POOH Marydon, I am sorry you are having grief with stuff breaking! Why is it that it all breaks at one time, DARNIT! Hope you get it all fixed up and have some time to rest and keep warm! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteAnd yet you are smiling. What a blessing to be able to cope and remain cheerful.
ReplyDeleteHope everything is "up and running" soonest.
Life sure can be hard some time. You have my sympathy.
ReplyDeleteHugs
When it rains it pours. Or should I say when the water heater breaks - the rain falls!
ReplyDeleteI am so sorry.
Glad you and hubby have each other and a sense of humor to get through it.
Love,
sandie
Oh, I'm sorry :( Some days are unfortunately like that. I hope this week goes much, much better. ♥
ReplyDeleteOh, Marydon, I hope your Monday was better than your Sunday. You have such a great attitude, though. I think I would have completely fallen apart.
ReplyDeleteBTW, thanks so much for the Christmas card.
Thank you, thank you!
Hugs,
Nina
Oh Marydon I feel so guilty because I am having a laugh at your expense. I am so sorry, but you are right about when it rains, it pours. I hope by now that all is well and back up and running the way it should. I am sorry about the cold temps, but you and hubby can cuddle up and get toasty!! HA, Char
