... and hang up this gorgeous monogrammed bag that Andrea gave me. If you have not met this precious prayer warrior, please pop over & meet one phenomenal woman. http://arise2write.blogspot.com/
I so love it, Andrea!! TY
Don't you just love, LOVE these beautiful crocheted gloves. I remember when we wore gloves to church every Sunday.
I am sharing a lovely vignette ...
I had the basket from our shop, the gorgeous painted items were done by an artist in Florida ... I know you'll enjoy her exquisite beauty she creates.
made this beautiful cosmetic bag for me. I just couldn't bear to use it as it would get damaged, so this precious jeweled gift is tucked in to be enjoyed by all.
Donna creates lovely needleworks that will just steal your hearts, ladies.
I found the 'black' candlestick at TJM & painted it a creamy off white ... I just loved the shape & was going to put it in my bay window by my desk but it just works so ... I just set this vintage gorgeous cup on top so I may use it for other settings if I desire.
Don't you just fall in love with these beautiful roses! ... can nearly smell the heavenly scent ...
This little beauty I found in a store for a couple $$, so I plucked her from storage ...
The bowl is one of my favorite pieces, I love the ribbing shape style ...
I tucked a rose quilt in behind all these gorgeous pieces ...
& with the variety of heights it just fits perfectly in the corner of the front room adjoining the dining room ...
& greets you immediately upon entry into the foyer.
This is an original piece of art that I found in a thrift shop for pennies (well, nearly) when Sherry & I were having fun in April. What Zinsser primer & a little white paint will do for an EWWWWW-GA-LY frame. It now decorates our main bath ... pics of that another day.
Thank you for popping by, I so enjoyed your company, once again. Don't be a stranger!
What beautiful items you are showcasing. Just this week, I saw an elderly lady just barely able to see over her steering wheel which she was gripping with white gloves on!!! It reminded me of the days when mom and grandma wore gloves to church. Hope you have a lovely weekend Marydon.

Those hand painted pieces are so beautiful. My favorite is the teacup sitting atop the candle stick. Great idea-and you could put a tea light candle inside of it.

ReplyDeleteI love the beautiful painted china. The crocheted gloves are lovely, and I really like the original painting, too.
ReplyDeleteOT but... Did you notice that it kind of looks like [in first pic] you have a dark 'Jackie-O style' pillbox hat on back of your head?
ReplyDeleteIt's a picture frame in the other room but... I'm kind of silly today, I guess. :-)
