Side by side, hand in hand strolling thru our gardens, we enjoy & deeply appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. It is worth every moment of hard work ...
As a child, Mother let me have my own little garden in front of the garage, just around the corner of her sweet pea garden ... I was so proud of 'digging in the dirt' & watching those seedlings come forth as I watered & tended them ever so lovingly ... exquisite blossoms with lingering fragrances to surround me.
My enjoyment & fondness of florals continues ... it is my place of joy, serenity & comfort ... in my gardens of peace.
... gentle breezes caress ...
... angels hover ...
What beautiful flowers! Thanks for sharing them with us! :0)

what a beautiful garden - I am not particularly green fingered but so so love wandering around my parents/friends gardens. A dear friend of mine takes cuttings from other people's garden and then puts them in her own and she uses her garden for her 'prayer-time' as she never calls the plant by their official name but by the name of the person from whom she got the cutting...
ReplyDeleteHow pretty Marydon! Nice to see your poppies. They have been gone from here for a while now.
ReplyDeleteBEAUTIFUL! I love flower:) Have a blessed day! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteAbsolutely the most gorgeous thing I've seen all day! Especially the hydrangea..what on earth do you feed your babies? I'd sure like to start mine on the same diet.
ReplyDeleteAll is well here. Been busy working with my solder pieces. Haven't burned any fingers all week..but then again it's only Wednesday. Ha ha
Just wanted to say hello. Hope you've been well.

Beautiful flowers Marydon. I had a small little garden of mine own too and loved being in the garden with my granma. We also grew sweet peas, the fragrance was so wonderful as are my childhood memories.
ReplyDeleteLove your picture wearing that cute, cute red hat....hugs, Linda
I hope you are okay Marydon---been thinking about you.

Hi Marydon, I had such fun catching up on your posts. What gorgeous flowers you have. Love the story from childhood.
ReplyDeleteYou look adorable with the Marydon tote. I love your long jean jacket too.
Gorgeous entry vignette of treasures. Love the rose paintings.
Always a delight to visit.

Hello dear friend, Such sweet and colorful flowers to lift our spirits. Hope you have a blessed evening.
ReplyDeleteThere is something so peaceful and heart filling about working outside amongst the flowers. Your flowers look like they are really blooming. The sunshine can't decide what it wants to do here. We had a really mild winter and now we have had a record rainfall for June. No flooding like in other parts of the country thank goodness. Poor Oklahoma just can not seem to catch a break this year. Take care and have a beautiful Thursday Marydon!
ReplyDeleteThere is nothing more beautiful or peaceful than a flower garden and yours is spectacular. What a gorgeous post, Marydon!
ReplyDeleteMay you have a garden of wishes and dreams to fill your heart today!
Hugs!

I love the story about your little garden area your Mother let you have. There is nothing more relaxing than planting flowers and watching them grow. They never disappoint us and very often surprise us.
Your monogrammed bag is beautiful. You are blessed indeed.
