Knoebel's Amusement Park is the BEST KEPT SECRET ever for an amusement park. It beats all those other plastic places that are highly advertised, hands down. Forget them!
Nestled in the upper portion of PA, in the foothills of the scenic mountains, where the forest surrounds you ... the people are warm, courteous, kind, friendly. The employees range from teenage to upper senior citizens. They have a campground, enormous gigantic fabulous pool, cleanliness is overwhelming (even in the restrooms). The prices are very reasonable compared to the other amusement parks, the food is simply wonderful & about 1/2 the price of other similar locations.
Ansel, Tatiana & Mimi ... Poppy in other pics.
The entertainment is great, the kid-lings loved it, the arcades can keep you busy for hours. The rides are numerous & comparable to the other competitors ...
Moreover, I have never encountered so many well mannered employees ... THANK YOU & PLEASE still ring in our ears ... what>?! Yup! you don't find that often, if at all, at the competitors.
We had such a great visit, we will be back ...
Looks like fun, fun, fun!!!!

I love the name Tatiana and even have some perfume with that name. I think you'd love it, too, sugar
ReplyDeleteYep, we gotta do something to get this country back believing in the "good" and God. Absolutely, chick!!!!!

Connie
I haven't been there for years, but loved that you don't pay an entrance fee if you are not going to ride. At least that is how it used to be. I just do not enjoy riding lots of rides...so paying $50+ just to walk around and hold the others' things doesn't thrill me. We'll have to make a point to get back here...

That looks like a fun place and perfect weather to enjoy the grands. Looks like Tatiana bought some cotton candy - my favorite!
ReplyDeleteHi Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post you have created today. I love the fun that you and Harold had with the kids. OMG, I think I would love those rubber bumper boats, did you get wet? Harold rode the log ride? OMG he is so brave, no log ride for me. I would be scared to death. I loved the umbrella ride you were on. What a precious picture of you sweet Sis. I love it. I can't believe that you actually got on the Tilt a Whirl. That one makes me sick from going around and around. You go girl. I am so proud of you.
That would be a fun place to go next visit. Am I going to have to stay longer or what? Our list keeps growing in length.
I love you sweetie. Am missing you more each day. Hope you stay inside now where it is cooler, and out of the humidity. I worry so about you being out in the heat. Talk later sweetie. I love you. Your little sis, Sherry
I've never heard of this place, but it is going on my list for sure. Clean and polite? That's an amusement and an attraction all in itself! Thanks for the tip!

ReplyDeleteMy family and I just went to Western PA for a mini vacation--2 days driving, 3 days visiting my Mom and family. We went past that sign for the park and I wondered how it was. We'll have to try to go there sometime. Sounds like you had a great time! Making memories with your grands--priceless!, I'm sure they loved it!
