Miss Beverly @
Love Is ... just sitting quietly on the porch, listening to the sounds of nature, sipping a cool pink drink on a blistering hot eve, together ... the aroma of sweet pink flowers surrounding us.
I took (2) vintage pink designed feedsack fabrics to cover the chair cushions, another pink feedsack fabric piece to cover a pillow attaching a small doily & silk flower, draped a lovely shawl over the other chair to greet the chill of the late night air ... the round coasters are made from pink feedsack fabric scraps ...
Ahhh! pink pleasure ... as the pink sunset kisses the horizon.
Marydon those coasters with the pink rose material are to die for. Did you make those? I loooove the fabric, sooo cute. Your drinks look delicious. Lovely post.

Happy Pink Saturday Sis...
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful post you have. Love is... This one is so sweet.
Yes, you and Harold sitting outside in the evening, enjoying your beautiful gardens, and that beautifully manicured yard. I can see myself right there with you. I remember where each piece of furniture is and each potted plant is sitting. I did not want to forget, so I took in each corner in my memory.
I love the way you draped the shawl over the chair, and the coverings of the feedsack, now that is so clever. You have such a way with decorating. I can see you out there running around setting it all up for you and Harold to enjoy. I bet he was just thrilled.
Such a peaceful evening. Love is...
Thank you for sharing sweetie. You have another gorgeous, over the top post. I LOVE it.
Talk to you soon. I love you. Your lil Sis, Sherry
Hi :) What a lovely post you have for us for Pink Saturday. Everything looks so wonderful and relaxing and inviting. The feedsack fabrics look great on your chairs :)
ReplyDeleteWarmest, Brenda
Loving all the pink. The coasters are so cute!
ReplyDeleteDon't worry though. No snakes were harmed in my story. The "snake" was my garden hose and the "blood" was water cause the hose was on. Unfortunately the hose did not make it!

Marydon, you are so cute! I pulled out my big guns! I have two Love is...books. I will scan my pages so I can add them and I think we should do a post with the LOVE IS... theme. I have so many I really enjoy them and my hubby like them too.

Your patio looks sooooooooo inviting!! I would love to have a seat there with you and sip away in those sweet pink glasses!! What a fun, fun post!! Hope you had a great Pink Saturday and a wonderful Sunday!! Dana
ReplyDeleteI love the look of old wicker! It is so beautiful, but out here the sun and heat just ruins them and I have no place as yet to store things in bad weather. Problem out here is that you really have a time catching the bad weather! Hard to be seasonal.
ReplyDeleteNow, your comment on those barstools, I totally believed! LOL
Thanks, Marydon!
Mona
I love the look of the wicker furniture with the feedsack fabrics. So inviting and comfy, and the pink drinks just top it off!
