Our joy the day your father met you is etched forever in many minds ... as he came thru that door on leave from the USNavy, to meet his 6 week old son. The tears in his eyes as he whispered 'my son', on bended knee ... this moment as precious as gold, to hold closely in heart & mind forever.
We can only THANK YOU for being a loving, caring & precious son & father ... you have given us so much in life thru the bumps & joys ... how blessed we are & deeply grateful you are the adult you have become.
With all our love, forever ~ Mother & Dad

Happy Birthday to Emery and the story about his father seeing him for the first time when he was 6 weeks old really touched my heart. Hubby was in the Air Force during the Vietnam years and we knew of many who didn't get to meet their babies until they were a few months old...and some, sadly, never got to meet their babies.
ReplyDeleteThat is alot of first....
ReplyDeleteHappy Birthady to your firstborn.
Wishing your sweet son a very Happy Birthday!
ReplyDelete, a big giant Happy Birthday is being sent your way for your sweet son Emery! May you all have a wonderful time celebrating and have many many more years of birthday celebrations together.
