Hi Marydon, My first-born son (out of 3) was born on July 18, 1963..... How special is that!!!!
ReplyDeleteLove your "Love Is" theme... I don't collect them--but have seen them for years and years. They are some of my favorites...
I first found love ---REAL love---when I turned age 59, when George Adams came into my life.... I'm not sure I knew what real love was before then.
Have a great week.
Hugs,
Betsy`
Marydon! This is an amazing story. I have to get busy posting more of these. I found one that reminded me of my late uncle and others that speak volumes about the love I have for my husband. Wow! You have had an amazing marriage! Keep it up! Hugs Anne

The "Love Is..." cartoons were part of our history too. My husband used to send them to me in every letter he wrote from college when we were engaged. He even found me a musical one for our 25th anniversary. They still make me smile:)
ReplyDeleteI have a little booklet of these cartoons from my college days, if I can just lay my hands on. If memory serves me correctly...it was a small little sucker!
ReplyDeleteWe were a blind date and when 'Farm Boy walked into the Fraternity house after he announced to everyone, "I'm in love!!!" That was it...we were both gone.
Have a magnificent day Miss Marydon :o)
