Come along with me, as we take a stroll thru the rest of the beautiful property ... Union Mills is such a historical site, set so beautifully in the countryside ... we'll all sit under that majestic tree ... listening to the creek trickle on by serenely. Did you notice earlier we passed the awesome hollyhocks standing so erectly, surrounded by the tiger lilies? Let us all celebrate together leisurely ... don't forget to make a wish in the wishing well!
Carol (Buttercup) is one of the sweetest gals you'll ever meet ... pop over & share in her birthday.
(I just HAD to do this in LILAC, Carol)
Love you, have a fabulous day.

Good Evening My Sweet Sister Marydon...
ReplyDeleteOh how beautiful. Buttercup will be so pleased. She had no idea how fun virtual birthdays could be. I love your post sweetie. Just beautiful.
Now listen I am still hung up on this split rail fence whilst trying to get over to that wishing well. Is Harold ever going to come back and get me lose? Tell him I need my shots now, and it is way past my dinner. Oh what is a girl supposed to do? Haroooolllldddd!!!
Focus now, remember where you left me. Ha! Ha! Ha! Ha!
I love the hollyhocks. They are the same beautiful color of the ones Moma has, and as children she made us dolls from them. I always thought they were kind of a prickly plant, anyway the greens, but aren't they breathtaking to view?
This is the most beautiful place to stroll through. I love the old barn. The grasses along the creek flow are so beautiful and peaceful. Thank you for taking me outdoors today, I have so enjoyed playing.
I miss you and love you sweet Sister. Talk to you soon. All my love. Your lil sis, Sherry
Buttercup is more pleased than words can say! Two virtual parties with the dearest folks I know. Can't get any luckier than that. Lots of wonderful people coming to celebrate with us. Beautiful music...and lovely flowers. I close my eyes and see the faces of two precious friends. The only thing better would be celebrating with you and Sherry and Harold in person. Hugs, love and all of my thanks!
ReplyDeleteYou ladies make me smile, I love the friendship you all have!!!! Marydon, you and Sherry are so sweet, I rushed right over to wish Buttercup a HB!!!! Love your garden!
ReplyDeleteHugs,
Margaret B
Everything is so so beautiful! What a glorious excursion you shared with us. Those pink hollyhocks.......how I remember when I was a young lass of about 7 or so, I used to get some heavy string [like kite string] and pick lots and lots of blossoms and string them together making me a lei! Oh the good memories!
ReplyDeleteAnni's Thursday Post. Do come join me if you can.
Happy Birthday to your sweet friend. How nice to have you to remember her. Love the tour. I think I like the barn the best. The flowers are wonderful! I am finding many flowers in my yard that I dismissed as weeds and pulled! Now I am trying to transplant them.
ReplyDeleteHappy birthday to Buttercup!!!! Thanks for the tour also Marydon. I love that white picket fence and that old barn is so neat. Have a beautiful day!
ReplyDeleteBlessings~
