When I found this ‘Love Is …’ as I was fingering thru my collection, I chuckled & said ‘…that’s Connie’ … & so many of we military wives greeting our husbands upon return from duty assignments..
I so admire Connie’s deep patriotism & support of our troops. Her husband served with the US Marines, as did many other members of her family.
Of all our beautiful ‘pink sisters’ who are married to servicemen, both retired & active duty … this is one lady, of many, that I adore for her patriotism. Connie is beautiful, has a great sense of humor … is very talented in her creative pink designs … & just a fabulous, caring, loving woman with a beautiful & loving Christian heart.
These pictures were shared by Connie … THANK YOU, my friend!
If you haven’t met this treasure of a woman, please pop by for a visit ~
(Looking good Connie, but... where's the PINK!)

ReplyDeleteThese families pay the ultimate sacrifice in the way of their jobs, like firemen and policemen. I love this cartoon and how it so beautifully captures the sentiment.

ReplyDeleteOh ---I love that "Love Is..." I don't have any relatives who have been in the service recently---but I love watching the troops come home, and get to see their brand new baby for the first time. They show those reunions on TV around here---and I find myself sitting there crying.
ReplyDeleteI am so proud of our military. God Bless America and God Bless Connie's husband who gave so much for US.
Hugs,
Betsy

Hi, Marydon! I love that Connie, too, and I truly appreciate our troops. My cousin was retired air force, and his son just got from two tours in the worst, most dangerous ares in the Middle East. I salute Connie's sweetie and all of the wonderful members of our armed service who courageously and dutifully serve so that we might be free and safe.
ReplyDeleteGod bless our military and their families who sacrifice!
