You and your husband are in my prayers and thoughts my friend. The pictures are so beautiful, they leave me with such a peaceful, calm feeling. I lived in Virginia for a few years and loved riding through the horse farm areas and historic districts too. Such a beautiful area.

ReplyDeleteLoved the photos you featured - my favorite type of sky is when it's all sort of rosy pink like that at dusk. It's magical and I love it.
What beautiful pictures! Thank you for posting them! Prayers for you and your husband.
ReplyDeleteOk Marydon honey I want the first horse which one will you and Harold pick. I could just see the three of us riding out in that beautiful pasture. Of course, I would be laughing so hard I don't know if I could stay on the horse. I actually was picturing this but we were all bareback. Now that would be a hoot.
ReplyDeleteTell that sweet handsome Harold that my knees are hurting from all my prayers for him. So hurry up and get well so I can get back up. lol
Love you both
Maggie
PS
I posted another juicy chapter bloggers will be talking bad about me now
Lovely photos, Marydon. Prayers here that all goes well on Thursday.
ReplyDeleteMarydon- What a beautiful tour of your countryside. I love old barns and sheds. I am sending up a prayer for your hubby's surgery. It is always such a scary thing. We have been down your prath with a couple of very serious surgeries. I am saying a prayer for you too...that you stay strong and fearless. Hugs- Diana
ReplyDeleteI am praying for Harolds quick recovery from his surgery Thursday.
ReplyDeleteDon't you just love old buildings, I take a lot of pictures of them also and around where I live, there are a lot of them. So sad they are withering away to rubble. I would love to know the stories of the people who once lived in these old homes.

Marydon, I am enjoying the wonderful trips you are taking me on with your pictures. I will be praying for both you and your hubby that all goes well on Thursday and he has a speedy recovery. I would come and hold your hand on Thursday if we only lived closer. It always seems like it takes a long time even though it may not. Take care Your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteHi Sis...
ReplyDeleteOh my goodness you didn't? You got us horses? You remember the story about Ragin Cajun in Brookings when Tony and I went there on our trip? I said I am NOT getting on another horse. I will just watch you and Harold gallop from the fence. Let your hair down girl and ride free. Yipppeee. Oh look at you two go.
I am praying in advance sweet brother of mine. I know that you are going to be in the best hands out there, so I will wait to hear from you when you are resting once again in a room with a view.
Hope you two had a beautiful day. I miss you and love you both so much.
All my love, Your Lil Sis, Sherry
