I so love the vintage teacup sets of all vintage china ...
but what-to-do when the saucer is broken ...
(another day I'll show you what we do with the saucer
that isn't broken)
We decided to 'take the chance' of making them into
lamps ... & I was so pleased. We had national
magazine coverage several years ago when we created
this 'light bulb' beauty ...
This one I so love because of the cascading
sizes we used to create a gorgeous 15 1/2" boudoir lamp
One of the teacups is a Nippon beauty ...
I thought the marriage of designs as both elegant
& sweet ...
adding these beauties to our website for purchase.

Have a beautiful weekend ...

Happy Pink Saturday ! Thank you so much for visiting Lavender Hill and commenting on my fun pink rockers. They are old ( maybe 25 years ? ), we bought them for our first house...white cheap rubbermaid. they were so grungy I was ready to ditch them when I discovered spray paint ! My DiL sprayed them in geranium pink and voila -- a set of fun chairs !
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend,
gena
The teacup lamp is so pretty! I know this a dumb question, But how do you get the holes in the teacups without them breaking.
ReplyDeleteThat's a gorgeous lamp Marydon! No wonder it was a hit with the magazine. Such a great way to use a lonely cup.
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry I missed your call.I had to run to Hailey to the pharmacy. I am feeling good and doing well, other than I got an infection in one of the little incisions, thus the trip to the pharmacy.
