If you can remember my friend entered the Campbell Soup restore a barn contest & was one of five winners ... after Mass we drove over to see the changes to the barn, to be posted later ... & we passed this lovely country side ...
... enjoying the beautiful spring day was a pasture of gorgeous horses grazing & lazing away the day ...
... and I GOT THE BOOT! Yup! I sure did. Now isn't that the most glamorous, fashionable foot creation ever?!&@ ... NOT!! Just walking along & SNAP went the bone ... oy!
PS Sherry is just not responding well to healing from this pneumonia. We talk daily & it is still really quite heavy with
her. Love you, get well soon, Cherry Jelly sis ...
Put some roses on it and no one will ever know the difference, chick! ;-)
ReplyDeletexoxo,
Connie

Oh, good grief! We are quite the mess, aren't we? You and your broken bone...my bronchitis...Sherry's pneumonia. Is it some secret club? Is this initiation? LOL
ReplyDeleteSorry Marydon.
I do hope it is not painful.
I also hope you are not stuck with a bunch of plants that did not get in the ground.
Becky K.
Oh your boot is one of the latest fashions havn't you heard. I have seen so many around lately. Must be the fad. lol Seriously, I hope you are ok and heal really fast. Now you asked for someone to help you figure out how to link. It really isn't hard. here goe.
ReplyDelete1. Publish your post and when it is published your bring it up and then you right click on your title and then left click on copyshortcut.
2. Go to the blog post that you want to link to. Go to whatever linky think they have up.
3. wherever the line is (They are all a little different) that calls for your url or http you just right click and paste the title of your blog post there.
4. Next fill in the appropriate information they ask for. Your name, blog address, email or whatever they ask for and then hit enter.
5. If it is one of the picture links, then step two a bunch of pictures will pop up and you just choose whichever one you want and you are done. You should be linked and all set to go. Practice on my table top tue. You will get the hang of it. I don't care if you make a mistake. Just keep trying. Hugs, Marty P.S., if you are doing the picture link. There will be a red x beside your pic after you link. Only you can see that and if you don't like what you've done, just click the x and start all over. That's why I say to practice on my Table Top Tues post. Can't fail.

Bless your little heart, that boot is quite the fashion statement for the summer:) I am sorry to hear that Sherry isn't back to her sweet healthy self yet! Have a blessed day my friend! HUGS!
ReplyDeleteOh my! I do hope it's not too painful....healing to you and Sherry.
ReplyDeleteMarydon! You silly girl! I'm SO sorry. Anything I can do? (((hugs))
ReplyDeletePoor Sherry. I had pneumonia a year ago and it was just horrible. If it gets deep enough into your lung/s, it is a devil of a time recovering. Don't worry about her, she's a vibrant and strong lady, she'll pull through . . . but it sure is difficult to watch the ones you love suffer, isn't it. I find it so beautiful and so inspiring the way you two have become so close. I'm heading over the Sherry's now to let her know she's in my prayers and thoughts.
Have a good day, Sweetie.
Beautiful countryside where you live, Marydon. Enjoyed the pictures. Sorry about the boot! Hope you recover soon!
ReplyDeleteLiz
Sorry to hear about your foot and about your friend's continued illness. I will pray for you both.
ReplyDeleteLoved seeing the pretty yellow fields. I look forward to hearing about the barn. Sounds intriguing.

ReplyDeleteOh, I would love to have you snap for me. The new linky is pretty easy and kinda tells you what to do. I hope you'll try.
Saying a prayer for Sherry, poor thing.
Be a sweetie,
Shelia ;)
The pictures from the country side are just beautiful...so sorry about your foot...I will pray for a quick healing....blessings
ReplyDeleteI bet you drove very slowly by the country side. That is beautiful.
ReplyDeleteSorry about that stunning boot you have on. I had me one once - still have it in case. Fashion statement. Hope the pain has subsided. Have a great day. Becca
Marydon, I'm so sorry to hear of your ankle!! Oh my gosh, Bless your heart.
ReplyDeleteOkay...the only thing to do in this situation is....Paint it PINK!! You will then be the Gloria Vanderbilt of the Orthopedic Shoe!
Hugs, feel better friend, Sharon
The boot may not be beautiful but it will do its job of protecting your ankle beautifully.
ReplyDeleteYou poor kid not a fun thing and sorry Sherry is still sick.
ReplyDeletePatsy

MY GOODNESS..so sorry to learn of your new footwear! Oh Marydon..first Sherry..now you. I still pray for Sweet Sherry EVERY DAY..and now I'll add you Sweet Lady, to the list.
ReplyDeleteMy Aunt who lives in Mississippi broke both (yes BOTH) her feet during a wedding reception last year. She was out of circulation for nearly 7 months. It wasn't pretty, but now she's up and around and as right as rain.
Loved your photographs of Holland! Thank you for sharing them with us..and thanks also for your recent visits to my place. I appreciate so much that you encourage me in my work. Loved that you like my choice to paint whimsically versus following a more disciplined brush stroke.
I've been blessed to have a supportive husband in this artistic journey of mine, which has allowed me the previledge to paint what my heart designs. Some artists have no choice but to paint for the masses..I paint for the pure satisfaction it brings my soul.
I hope you heal quickly Lovely Lady. I'll be checking in on your progress..and I so appreciate the updates on Sherry. Be well Sweet Friend.
Blessings, Love & Friendship, Terri
Marydon, Oh my goodness!! I was scrolling along to see what I may have missed in my busy~ness and I see you with the too familiar walking cast. Girlfriend, have you been tested for Osteoporosis? I was diagnosed 7 years ago and have it very bad. I also stepped off the porch and broke my foot and ankle. Doc says it was not from my osteo that it would have broke from the foot twisting anyway.
ReplyDeleteI will keep you in my prayers and you take good care my dear friend.
Stay off of it as much as possible too.
Hugs, Celestina Marie
