ReplyDeleteThis was a beautiful tribute. I saw the news this morning, 8 more dead in Afghanistan. I am sickened by the government and their involvement of a war where we do not belong. My heart breaks for the loss of innocent lives. May God be with these families. Love you! Anne
ReplyDeleteHope it is for having some family fun.

That is perfectly put, and could be applied to any country. We should all be thankful for their sacrifices.

You know, this is very well said.
ReplyDeleteMy husband is an ex marine and served in the Vietnam war. They wanted to amputate his arm but he wouldn't allow it. He has come through so much, and would you believe, they still haven't compensated him properly, they keep putting him off with excuses..So sad.
Have a great weekend. God Bless.

Hello!!! My sweet Marydon.
ReplyDeleteThank you for your comment for the pink Saturday♪♪♪
Well, my father (who is 86years old and suffering from dementia)was in the World WarⅡ. He's never told us his experience, may be too hard to share.
When I was a little child, I sometimes wonder why he loves American movies and dramas. I thought he was enjoying those which were made in the country he fought. "Combat" with Vic Morrow was his favorite. See, you might know my feeling,
prayers for all the people who suffered in the war!!!
Please have FUN during your holiday,
Love,xoxo Orchid.
Enjoy your holiday break! We all need one! I do appreciate our Veterans - they are what make and keep this country special!
