~ Walking In God's Light ~
Our granddaughter, Tatiana Isabelle
As angelic as can be ...
I had to chuckle, most parents probably don't recognize these QUIET little angels
There were 106 precious hearts coming before the Lord
Such purity, precious beauty in a solemn moment
Holy Redeemer Catholic Church is an ultra modern structure
As they prepare to receive their First Communion.
As we were standing against this packed church, awaiting each child's holy moment ... I snapped a
picture without the flash. Ansel, gr-kidling age 10 turned & said "Mimi, the priest said not to take
pictures." I chuckled, smiling reply, 'Oh, I am sorry
I didn't have my hearing aid turned on.' Dead serious
Ansel, startled said, 'You've got a hearing aid!!??'
Got some chuckles out of our surrounding folks.
They all go home, tear off those clothes & enjoy their childhood days once again, blessed by God Almighty in the new step they took in their lives today.

Congrats to Taitana on her First Communion. We just watched the last group go at our church today. Such a special moment in their lives.
ReplyDeleteOh Sis...
ReplyDeleteI so adore these photos of Tatiana and Ansel too. (I especially love the one of them together.)
Her dress is SO gorgeous, but it would have been more complete with her special necklace of love, from Mini and Poppi. Sorry she didn't get to wear it that day.
So angelic. I could hear the angels singing praise this morning. Thank you for sharing this beautiful day.
I am going to post my Love Is shortly. You are going to love this one. All my love, Your Lil Sis, Sherry
Marydon, you have the most beautiful grandkids. Just beautiful and what a wonderful dress. Such a special day for her and your family. Thanks for sharing this giant milestone with us. Children are a major blessing in our lives and it's so sweet to see them beginning their journey on the right path, one that will be so comforting in all the days they have ahead of them.

Oh My Goodness! The grands are so beautiful! I remember my own First Holy Communion. Still have the veil and prayer book. My veil, in my blog photo was woren by 4 of my nieces Karla, Holly, Carrie and Mary Nell. My daughters Hannah and Noelle and Karla's daughter Kate! Only my precious middle did not get to make her first holy communion in 2nd grade. She did before confirmation in the 8th grade! I love those memories. I also think the elegant cake was fit for a precious child of the Lord. Hugs to you! Anne

Dear Marydon,
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for your lovely words on my blog. It´s always a moment of joy when I find a truly inspiring blog, and yours is full of beauty and inspiration.
Your granddaughter looked like a little princess in her first day to receive the Body of Christ.
Hope you have a beautiful week too!!
Hugs&Kisses
Beautiful pictures of a very special day! Thanks for sharing....and as a person who used to be a church coordinator for those events, I understand the need to restrict photos or you get people moving about and blocking the view of others. (I used to get a professional videotape done of the event and we bought the rights to it and made several copies and parents then signed them out to make their own copy of it.....kept everyone happy that way!)
ReplyDeleteThank you for the comments they were soo nice. : ]
