~ To Bud or To Bloom ~
Royal Gold is one of our many new roses.
Her bud is tight & so delicate ...
and then she throws open her petals into
an exquisite profusion of beauty ...
As I mentioned before, we laid 14 cu. yards of mulch ... it took Harold & I, 2 days to do this. On the 3rd day I started planting.
I told you recently that I knew there were between 700 & 800 new beauties going in
the ground ... after an issue arose to the
exact amount I had planted, I went out &
hand counted all my 'little beauties' ... I
planted 1,065! Yup! & now can hardly
wait to see how this all turns out.
This is our climbing rose, of COURSE she's
PINK & a beauty.
I will capture better pictures of this awesome Iris.
It is speckled with white & a powerful beauty.
Gene Boerner has joined us, such a delicate PINK.
Another new Iris, so full of colors & charm.
Two plants growing together, have no idea what they are but they look great!
One of our many, many rhodies ...
A pretty cluster ...
Our bleeding hearts, azalea & yellow azalea tree ...
At one time this rhodie had the shape of a skunk ...
I so love this rhodie & her rich ruby red
buds ... see her open below, it won't
allow me to move the pics ...
This rhodie & azalea have entertwined ...
creating this awesome spring profusion of colors.
The rhodie is the palest of soft yellow with a lemony throat ...
An azalea ...
this elegant rhodie blossom opens ...
she is the one up above that I couldn't
move the picture of ...
The softest pinkish lavender rhodie ...
Hope you enjoyed this peaceful walk.
Have a beautiful day ~
FYI I am trying to write some of you & blogger is NOT letting me leave a comment tonight, FYI! Will it EVER end with blogger? At least you know I'm trying to catch up.
