... friends are forever. We decided to
SURPRISE another of our many unsuspecting friends ... it was a lovely
weekend, nothing better to do & had
been wishing to visit this precious lady
& her fabulous knight in shining armor, so
we hopped into the car & headed out!
Unsure of our actual schedule as we
putz down the back roads, we called
Doug to make sure they'd be home. YAY!
Knocking on the door, Doug & Andrea both greeted us ... she was so cute ... 'What are you doing here?' in her darlng southern accent. 'I brought you a gift', I replied.
If you haven't met this wonderful beauty that God has blessed us with, you must go
over & visit her. One meeting is all it takes to fall in love with her. Andrea is a powerful prayer warrior @ arise2write, her heart is filled with beauty that fills one with warmth & joy. You can't help but love her immediately.
Last year at the tea gathering I had when Sherry-sis was here in MD., Andrea drove all the way up here for the day, bringing her handsome husband Doug.
We had a lovely visit, got to meet her gorgeous therapy dogs ... Sitka even has his own blog ... & her son, wife & darling Eli.
Thank you for the wonderful time spent with you both, looking forward to many more moments of togetherness to treasure. Love you, sweet friend!!

ReplyDeleteOh I adore seeing this picture of you and Andrea together. It is priceless. I would have loved to have seen her face when you rang her bell. I am sure there was not enough time. Never enough time to get all the visiting in.
Love the rainbow. Now my question is, "Did you find that pot of gold at the end of that rainbow while you were putzing the back roads?" A beautiful capture sweet Sis.
Thank you for sharing. I so love it when you do. When you travel, I get to go along too and that is what makes it so darn special. Hugs, hugs and more hugs to you and dear brother.
