After reading your comment the other day - I pondered "Memorial Day". We've moved away from the serious and somber tones a lot, haven't we? Making it weekends for time off, etc. Anyway, I pondered it and wrote a post. Your words prompted my pondering. Thanks! Jenn

ReplyDeleteYesterday my husband, Ret. MSgt. Eric C. Gunn and my cub scout planted flags at the cemetary. Today we will make our way to a cemetary in Cave Creek to also pay our respects.

Oh yes...we must remember all of the brave men who serve their country! And all of those who have given their lives.

So many gave it all and sacrifice so much for our Freedom! I am truly thankful for each one!
