~ I've Grown Roots ... ~
Here is what I started out with for the gardens this year. We bought 96 new
geraniums ... only 25 survived the winter in the garage. A gal can never have enough
flowers ... right?!
I mentioned earlier to you that hubby does not DARE let me near a nursery in the spring ...
these beauties were actually found at Costco ...
aren't they exquisite?
Now tell me you could have passed them up ...
Hmm, it would be hard to believe you could, chuckle!
Not satisfied, I picked up more pretties ...
could NEVER leave behind a beautiful
Pink!!
& here are the first tulips that appear in our gardens, they are so different from the
usual style of a tulip...
& our flowering cherry goes from a white to a gentle
PINK before her petals flutter to earth ...
our Dutch white daffodils with a soft
lemony throat are so pure ...
& our white dogwood on the lower terrace garden.
This is where I find my most wonderful peaceful moments in life ... with God & His awesome wonders He shares with us.
