Alex, a little snow angel, just for you, Julie Marie
Now you ALL know how I get so excited over SNOW, do you think I did too many YIPPY SKIPPY HAPPY DANCING ... I think next time I'll just pray for a wee bit less, chuckle.
This is the last pics you will see of the snow ...
I do want to keep an audience & you are probably getting tired of me doing the snow shuffle!
Addendum ~ Be Warned ! They just announced we are getting more snow on Sat. & then on Mon. OK, OK, no HAPPY DANCING, I SWEAR!!!
Ansel & Tatiana

Ansel falling asleep on the front porch after helping
his Father, Emery, shovel snow ... adorable!
Through the snow covered french door
He's so beautiful, anyone know what that little fat friend of his is?
I couldn't get to the feeders to fill so I set out pie tray of food for them, oh, what a mess! I am going to have sunflowers growing everywhere this spring.
IF you look the stop sign is barely visible.
Harold digging out of blizzard #2 ... total 54" of this gorgeous fluffy white stuff in 5 days.
Ya-hoo-dee!
Dripping with icicles & buried bird bath (mound of the front left)
Look at my hanging basket!
The drifts are fabulous! You can barely see the tail lights on our truck on the left.
I'm right there with you.
ReplyDeleteStill digging out in PA!
Leann
Now cut out all that HAPPY stuff.......OR move far from Delaware and take all the white stuff with you and be as happy as you want....just so it will stop being snowy HERE!!! LOL
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon, this post did not come up when I checked right after you sent me the email... thanks for the snow angel!!! So cute! Wow, you really got blasted with snow!!! The little "fat bird" as you call her (tee hee hee) looks like a Pine Siskin to me (can't tell for sure from the pic) but I think that is one... and the two at the pietin look like Juncos... we were supposed to have sun and 40 degrees today, instead we have a blizzard and it is freezing... make it go away!!!! xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteI grew up in Wisconsin and miss snow, here in California, so I enjoy your snow day photos. The one of the drifts is so gorgeous, the boy sleeping, and the odd looking hanging planter are all good.
ReplyDeleteKeep warm!
Terra
Well......I'm from West Texas........where it really doesn't snow much,....it is snowing and beautiful. This is about the 6th snow for us this year..........very unusual....but my flowers will be abundant come spring! Stay warm and keep having fun! blessings,Kathleen
ReplyDeleteWe not sooner dig out than more of the white stuff comes down!! Warm hugs, Esther
ReplyDeleteI'll keep looking at your snow photos, I love them..I believe your fat little bird is a Sparrow..
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon

Good Morning Sweetie...
ReplyDeleteI so love all the beautiful pictures, but Ansel making the snow angel is so precious. He is a character, he must take after Emery, as I am sure it runs in your family.
I love that picture of the beautiful cardinal. He is so gorgeous and vivid. I love to hear them talk. Daddy and Moma have a family of Cardinals, that they have watched their babies grow. They had 3 males and 1 little female that they brought to Moma and Daddy's feeders every day. Daddy says they are always the first to come in the morning, and the last to come at night.
Your poor truck, will you ever find it again? Everything is so magical and beautiful yes, but I do not think that my bones would take the cold anymore. I would be confined to the house for sure.
Have a beautiful day sweetie. Please stay warm and do not travel far if at all.
I will check back with you later today. I love you my sweet Friend/Sister. All my love, Sherry/Cherry Jelly
All that snow is sooooo pretty! Love the picture of the birds! The picture out the glass door is beautiful too. I have NEVER seen that much snow! We are supposed to get a little tomorrow night. Probably a dusting:) Have a blessed day dear Marydon!

jamie
Well, Marydon, your pictures are certainly beautiful, but I suspect you're the one behind the giant snow mess across the US! :) Quit posting pics, you're encouraging Mother Nature too much. :) Now she'll just want to show off!
ReplyDeleteLiz
Oh I am sick of snow! We got the same storm you did here in NY. It is beautiful and sunny today, but we can't get out!
ReplyDeleteSpring will come..we must be patient!
I love snow and we are supposed to have some more saturday and monday, though probably not much.
ReplyDeleteI love being out in it while it's coming down.
Love your snow pictures. I have some posted on my blog also, if you get a chance, stop by.
I am surprised the hanging pot is still hanging, it's gotta be heavy.
I enjoyed your pictures.
Betsy
Oh the snow pics are beautiful! The kids are sooo cute in ALL of that snow. I absolutely love the pic with the cardinal. Cardinals were my grams favorite bird and when I see when I feel she is with me. The snow filled planter is just to funny looking LOL Try to stay warm. Hugs
ReplyDeleteLovely pictures. I guess I don't share your enthusiasm for snow. But that's why I love living in Florida :-) No Snow!!
ReplyDeleteI'ld say the cardinal's fat little friend is an English Sparrow.
ReplyDeleteI just cannot believe how much snow you guys have gotten. I can't even imagine seeing 54" of snow!
ReplyDeleteGood Luck, stay warm and enjoy!!!
elinda
Oh my word!! 54"?!!! I don't know what is happening this year! We seem to keep JUST missing every storm! We were supposed to get 3 to 6" yesterday, and AGAIN barely got a DUSTING!!! For our area, this is unheard of! I don't mean to complain, because honestly I've always had a terrible fear of driving in it... and NOW I find myself worrying about my DAUGHTER driving in it too!! But I just don't understand! Even our weather forcasters are flabbergasted! Well, who knows what's ahead.. It's only February, meaning Winter isn't going ANYWHERE yet!.. So we'll see what it still has in store for us! Loved the pictures of the birds.. and the picture of Ansel is absolutely priceless! ((hugs)) ~tina
ReplyDeleteHey Marydon. I never get tired of your pictures. You have a wonderful attitude about all that snow. I can't believe how high it is! I never get to see this stuff so it's great.
ReplyDeleteThe pictures of the kids are so cute & precious! They are having a blast.
Thanks for stopping by today. Hope your staying warm. xxoo's....Tracy :)
What fun for the grandchildren! I remember loving snow when I was a child. I still enjoy the beauty of it, makes everything look so pure and bright, and feel peaceful and quiet.
ReplyDeleteGlad you are able to enjoy all that snow with your family. Love the birds... the red cardinal looks spectacular!
Thanks for sharing.
Blessings,
Thank you, Marydon, for the beautiful images.
ReplyDeleteIn my experience, I have found that when it comes to snow, enough is enough. Hope you get "dug out" safely.
54 inches !!!???? Oh my!
ReplyDeleteLast year I did the same thing with birdseed....jut put it in a pie pan and you are right. Last Spring I had grass seed coming up everywhere where I didn't want it.
WOW! 54"? I thought our 31+ inches last year was a lot. Looks as though the kids are having a great time playing in it. LOL
ReplyDeleteStay warm!
Hi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteYou sure did get a ton of snow. It is so beautiful but I have had to deal with snow for many, many years.
My Grandkids are so sick of it that they want to come to Florida and visit us. I would love to have them.
Well you enjoy that snow while you can because soon it will be gone.
Oh my! So much snow!! Fabulous pictures, Marydon! I love the pictures of the kids out playing in it. Hope you continue to enjoy it since I imagine it will be around for a while! :-)
ReplyDeleteI keep hearing about snow! It is 50 degrees here in the Northwest. The first few days of snow are always the most magical, and then, suddenly, the magic just goes away!
ReplyDeleteOh that poor cardinal looks so lost! Great pics, I don't mind the snow since it's all we see here!
ReplyDeleteOmg.... I'd done with the snow already. No happy dance here until I see some spring.
ReplyDeleteSend some out west to me Marydon! I'll take a few inches! WE haven't had ANY. Your snow supply is a little over the top, but it sure is gorgeous! The kids are loving it I'm sure! Poor Harold, he has my sympathies!
ReplyDeleteAlex makes the cutest little snow angel Marydon. I can't believe all the snow you got. And those drifts!!! It sure is beautiful my friend.
ReplyDeletethank you so for your sweet message that you left for me. I do feel blessed.
hugs
Marydon, I bet you are longing for some sunshine right about now??? Stay warm my friend

ReplyDeleteHow BEAUTIFUL!!! You know I love snow and you've had so much more than us. For us, here in East-Central Illinois - 6 - 8 inches is considered a huge storm.
ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures are really amazing. We have seen on our TV news all the snow you have been getting over there.
ReplyDeleteHope you are managing to keep warm and cosy.
Lindsay
