I'm whispering 'I was lost, but now I'm found and forgiven.'
When I say 'I am a Christian' I don't speak of this with pride. I'm confessing that I stumble and need Christ to be my guide.
When I say 'I am a Christian' I'm not trying to be strong. I'm professing that I'm weak and need His strength to carry on.
When I say 'I am a Christian' I'm not bragging of success. I'm admitting I have failed and need God to clean my mess.
When I say 'I am a Christian' I'm not claiming to be perfect. My flaws are far too visible, but God believes I am worth it.
When I say 'I am a Christian' I still feel the sting of pain. I have my share of heartaches, so I call upon His name.
When I say 'I am a Christian' I'm not holier than thou, I'm just a simple sinner who received God's good grace, somehow!

ReplyDeleteI am also a very committed Christian, sugar. Most people think Mormons aren't Christian, but I'm here to tell you we most certainly are. Christ is the center of this home and all homes of the people I know. My God is a powerful God and loves each and everyone of us, no matter what. I'm trying to love and not judge, my worst sins probably.

ReplyDeleteThank you for visiting my blog. In reference to your concern for the appeal of assistance to the family who lost their daughter; this family lives in the Philipines and I'm not at all sure of the laws in that country, but I removed the post from my blog so as not to cause skepticism. It was a "cut and paste" story taken from another blog for awareness. Hope your day is blessed! Peace, Mollye
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely reminder this Sunday. Thank you for sharing this with us. I stumble and need His guidance all the time. Oh do I fall short! But I ask for forgiveness and confess my sins, and He washes me clean.
ReplyDeleteHi My Dear Sweet Marydon,
ReplyDeleteWhat a lovely post for today. So perfect and speaks to the heart. I have seen this verse before and saved it to my files of inspiration. A sweet reminder of what it is like to be a Christian in the world. Truth and direction for our daily walk as we take our journey home, some glad day.
Thank you always for your gift of beauty in words and hope.
Big Texas hugs come your way.

This was beautiful sweet sis! I am so glad you commented on the other matter because someone is totally giving wrong info out here and working in a large research hospital for 13 years I know the hospitals have social workers who can come to the aid of families. Blessings to you and I pray that others will find their way as we have. Hugs Anne
