On a dark & cloudy moon lit night ... & a full one at that! ... a journey of great love & fun began ...
come on along ...
It has been quite a time getting this trip together for some time. We tried one day to leave town & got 8 hours down the road to receive the call
Harold had to be at work the following day in NJ, so we had to beat feet back home.
Well, last Friday a week ago, the company said his project part was done.
When he hung up I said 'you've got 15 minutes to mow that lawn' ... he
goes out to mow & the tractor LOST A PART on the first sweep, oy! No
way is anything going to deter this, I vowed. He borrowed a tractor, mowed, I throw clothes in the suitcases ... and out this door we flew, let me tell you!
Yippy skippy ...
Now this was a challenge ... I called Willow's home
to get the exact address as I wasn't sure if I was
correct in my numbers. Dave answered the phone & I explained to him I was 'surprising' her.
Oy! Dave said 'she's not having a good day'. I
said 'just tell her to answer the front door'. Well, Willow came to the door & her startled look was
worth a thousand words.
We travelled around the entire world in such a
short time, solved genealogy topics & reno's ...
& could have talked the whole night thru.
They have done a lovely job on their home
construction projects.
Willow has truly accomplished even more with
her dramatic weight loss, she looks soooo great!
The 4 of us had a blast chatting away into the
mid-eve ... our allotted time was not enough .
with our charming friends.
If you haven't met my precious friend, visit her @ http://myirishcottagehome.blogspot.com
John greeted me at the door. I told him I had a
delivery for 'a Mildred, is she available'. He said,
'she is resting'. I asked if he could let her know
there is a 'delivery for her'. He was puzzled for
sure & it was so cute watching him look at me
with my gift basket & Harold taking pictures.
Mildred made her way to the door, took one look
& THREW HERSELF into my arms. Whew! Then
came the tears of joy, & news they received a few
minutes before we arrived re John's medical
issues ... tears well for me.
joined them inside of their beautiful home.
The wall art, her treasures & serenity of her
land are so soothing & enjoyable. We are
enjoying her outdoor porch & swing ... the birds twitting, the breeze & rain so fresh scented ...
Constant non-stop chattering was so enjoyed
with them both ... we could have spent days of
contented moments with them, but that
schedule kept us tight on time.
John, Mildred & Harriet ... oh, my ... precious moments with
dynamite friends forever.
Please pray for them both as John travels this medical
journey.
Thank you for a treasured birthday & wedding anniversary
to remember forever, sweet friends.
Somebody 'lovely' was sure surprised to find
This is Lynn's 18 mn. old cat ... what a chunker
Isn't she beautiful?
Marydon, Kerrie & Bill. It was like high school
This is the view of Kerrie & Bill's backyard from
me at her front door ...
Lynn is just the most precious friend. We share
so much together, no topic of world affairs or private living is forbidden. It is always a non-
stop chattering & lots of love.
This is Lynn's 18 mn. old cat ... what a chunker
but oh, so pretty.
Lynn's beautiful home sits gracefully on a lovely
piece of ground ... she keeps everything so well
groomed.
Isn't she beautiful?
She is one exquisite crocheting gal ... I wish I
had taken photos of her breathtaking crosses.
You may view her beautiful creations in her

Greeting us in Lynn's front garden was this gorgeous rose ...
you know me & roses, out comes the camera!
Lynn then brought down some sweet hats & a neck scarf she hand crocheted for Angel Dawn who is a very sick little girl.
Angel Dawn will be thrilled. What a sweet gift of her to give
from her generous heart. You may read about this sweet child @Nezzy's cowpattysurprise.blogspot.com.
Kerrie is a very precious friend that we visited.
She was so excited to see us, the squeals, joy &
delight of our togetherness was infectious, echoing throughout the house. We are so very
blessed to have them both in our lives & we got
to meet their wonderful daughter Barbara.
Pop over & visit sweet Kerrie @ http://kerrieskorner.blogspot.com/
I do believe occasionally we each inhaled ...
chuckle! Yup! It was that non-stop breathless
chatting.
Marydon, Kerrie & Bill. It was like high school
giggles & moments ... that will be held closely
in our hearts forever.
in our hearts forever.
Bill is an expert wood carver & creator of
fabulous items. I was so fascinated at how on
earth he does such intricate works.
Kerrie is one fabulous artist, her works are over
the moon gorgeous & she needs to share them
more for you all to see ...
This is the view of Kerrie & Bill's backyard from
her office. It is awesome ... her wildlife photos
are all taken in her yard ... lucky her!
Harold & Bill had a wonderful time chatting
but couldn't get many words in edgewise with
Kerrie & me ... she gave us a wonderful tour of
their lovely home & treasures.
Please keep Kerrie & Bill in your prayers as they travel his journey with cancer.
It was truly a 'gotcha'!
All my love to everyone for one emotional & blessed week of love & joys ... with our beautiful friends & family. You all hold a special place in our hearts.
I so appreciate your loyal love ...

ReplyDeleteWhat a blessing you are to so many people! I am amazed, stunned, delighted reading about your kindness and your journey! Thank you, so much, for taking us along on your trip! :-) If you ever venture south to Florida, our door is open :-) And when I come up north, hopefully at the end of the month, maybe we can meet for lunch or tea. Not sure how close you are to Baltimore, or the PA line, but if you're nearby, it would be a treat.
