~ Lip Smacking Good & Chuckle Time ~
See those Krispy Kreme Donuts ... when I saw BJs bread pudding I was ready to dig right in. And then I saw Maggie @ The
White Farm House bread pudding mention
of KKs. Off to the store ...
The anticipation was terrible. We are both
eating the KKs, & had to back for another box. YUP! We sure did.
Go here for this D I V I N E recipe.

ReplyDeleteI'm not sure that the doughnuts -- love doughnuts! -- would make it to the pudding. I can't be trusted with anything this yummy in the house.
ReplyDeleteHugs to you and Harold!
Love Krispy Kreme and I'm not sure they would ever get that far, especially if they were warm. Yummmy! Hugs and happy weekend! Marilou
ReplyDeleteOooh, this recipe looks yummy! They closed the Krispy Kreme closest to my house. I'll have to go hunt for another! Have a wonderful day!

ReplyDeleteI was at the doctor Friday for my sinus infection. I am sure they were showing my phone # on that scale! LOL! Love you! Anne
What a yummy looking bread pudding. Can I have some please? Great post, I hope you have a lovely week!
ReplyDeletehi Marydon,, bj didn't do me any favors tempting me with KK recipes. One temptation I have a hard time resisting. Your dish is making me crave the doughnuts too. Our KK blew away when the tornado came through. The do plan to rebuild.
ReplyDeleteHope your week is great.

Hi Marydon,
ReplyDeleteLiving right near the Krispy Kreme donut shop is no easy task when you are trying to swear off of them. Oh, when they put out the "hot" sign! LOL!
This recipe sounds heavenly. I think that I saw Paula Deen do this on her show.
Sinful, yes But, of so good.
Hope you are doing well too my sweet friend.
hugs
Sissie
We call this bread and butter pudding. I love it!! So yum and your pics made my mouth water. I love it served with custard and cream. My mother used to make it often.

Oh no! After the weight gain from a week of guests I can't have a recipe this fabulous or my weight will read like my phone number... and zip code! Love it.
ReplyDeleteLOL
ReplyDeleteI can just see you eating those KK's and having to go back for more.
Gosh honey this looks sooooooo good.
I know you and Harold enjoyed this dish.
Been gone all weekend so I am off to bed early tonight but wanted to come by and say hello and to check on you both.
Hope we can talk soon
Love you
Maggie
I'm sure I would eat the whole thing in one sitting Marydon. YUM!!!!
ReplyDeletesending love...
I'm sorry I would not have been able to make the pudding. There would not have been enough KK left and I would not have gone back to the store for more. Laughing my butt off.
ReplyDeleteThat looks glorious to eat. I used to eat Krispy Kreme donuts once in a while back where I used to live. Your 'chocolate lady' was wonderful!

Oh that BJ! She just keeps right on showing the most incredible delights and she herself is wearing a size 2. How DOES she do it? This post made me laugh.
