~ Love Is... Second Chances ~
Life can be full of many ups & downs in both love, friendships & living.
God gives us the tools to do things right thru His words, tho more often we make choices of our own.
So often in life I have reflected on the choices we have made ... & despite all the ups & downs, we have elected to make ... God brings us back together. Some of our choices have not been pretty. We continued to stand side by side together in support & love for one another with deep respect. God always shows us that strength. Humbly we praise God for His continued support & love.
A recent unexpected event in Costco rattled us to our core. The naivete of an individual regarding my lack of vision at this time, created such an unwarranted embarrassing situation. Tho my love for this person will continue. God help them, they do not know the pain & sadness they have caused, for no rhyme or reason.
Separately, another assault with 'as the cauldron stirs', made me realize sometimes those second chances for others are just not possible.

Sorry you had a hurtful experience at Costco. Some people have no idea how a few unwise words can cause such pain in others.
ReplyDeleteSorry to hear about your upsetting time... {{{hugs}}}
ReplyDeleteGood Morning Sweet Sis...
ReplyDeleteYes, what an upsetting week this past one has been. The insensitivy of some is unbelievable at times. Just remember though what goes around, comes around, and yes it can even come back to bite some in the butt.
We start a new week today. We are staying focused on getting you through your surgery this week.
Love Is ... Family - You are my family sweetie. I love you. Your lil Sis, Sherry
Sweet Monday HUGS from me! I know that people can be so cruel sometimes! I pray that your vision gets corrected and you will SEE perfectly:) I pray, Amen! Love you!
ReplyDeleteYou just never know where the "hurt" will come from. I just pray that I should never inflict some hurt!!
ReplyDeleteHave a Great Day!!

There's nothing like illness or sickness to , juake one realize that others might have a Very Good Reason they are acting/responding as they do. Since Dave has been diagnosed with cancer and seeing how his health has declined and his abilities as well, makes me realize others, just maybe, may be suffering likewise.
ReplyDeleteMarydon, you're in my prayers.
Hugs to you Marydon. I also had a harrowing experience at the library of all places recently. Our young people are not being taught good manners of late. You are in my prayers for your surgery. Be safe. Blessings, LJ
ReplyDeleteSorry you had that experience. I don't know why people have to be that way.
ReplyDeleteTake care and I will be praying for your surgery. {{hugs}}
Sorry you had to deal with an unkind person. People can be so mean and for no reason too. I think most of us have had to deal with rude people who say hurtful things. Sis said you are having some surgery. Hope you feel better soon.
ReplyDeleteOh I am so sorry my friend...all you can do it remember to be the sweet kind person you are. God knows and sees all! xoxoxo HUGS
ReplyDeleteIt saddens me that people are mindful of their cruelty and insensitivity; and enjoy inflicting it upon another! What a harsh world we live in! I'm sorry you had to be subjected to such my dear friend! Pray you can put it in the past and move forward...you have to be calm and relaxed for your surgery! We're wishing you all the best. Love You, Loretta
ReplyDeleteThat is very sad to have to experience this humility. However, I am with you in second chances. I pray that your vision will improve. God knows....
ReplyDeleteSorry to read about that. Keep your chin up. Happy Monday friend!!!
ReplyDeleteHello Marydon,
ReplyDeleteSending hugs and lots of prayers to you.Some times people are just blunt, not really thinking.Let's just hope they did not mean to upset you. Smiles, Susie

I'm always amazed at what Blogland teaches me ...
ReplyDeleteIn the past, my reaction may have been to lash back at the person who hurt me ... now, I'm learning/TRYING to be a bigger person.
Thank you for setting such a wonderful example, Mary Don.
Holding you in my prayers!
Praying for you as you have your surgery.Sometimes people can be so cruel. Balisha
ReplyDeleteHi Marydon, I just wanted to let you know that your are in my thoughts and prayers. I had to check out your feed sacks because they bring back a lot of memories for me of the dresses that my mother made me as a child. I am going to get another opinion to find out just how big the cataract is on my left eye. They had to correct my left eye glasses quite a bit. My best to you and your hubby. Hugs from your Missouri Friend.
ReplyDeleteSome people can be less than sensitive. It is hard to see through the eyes of Jesus sometimes....keep trying.
ReplyDeleteHello Marydon,
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry that someone had caused you such pain and hurt.
I can relate to so much of what you have shared here. Thank you!
Love to you. Stay strong.
GOD BLESS!
