What an incredible display. This could
be one of the last surviving Christian
symbols in this country.
This is about 70 miles outside of
Amarillo, TX in a town called Groom.
These are the pictures of the crucifixation
of Christ by a man near Amarillo, TX.
The crosses are made of metal also.
The man did this out of the kindness of
his heart. Someone donated the land on
which to erect them.
In chemistry, He turned water to wine ...
In biology, He was born without the
normal conception ...
In physics He disproved the law of
gravity when He ascended into Heaven ...
In economics, he disproved the law of
diminishing return by feeding 5,000 men
2 fishes & 5 loaves of bread ...
In medicine, He cured the sick & the
blind, without administering a single dose of drugs
In history, He is the beginning & the end ...
In government, He said that He shall
be called wonderful counselor, prince
of peace ...
In religion, He said no one comes to the
Father except thru Him ...
So who is He? He is Jesus!
Join me & celebrate Him; He is so worthy ...
The eyes beholding this message shall
not behold evil ...
The hand that will send this message to
everybody shall not labor in vain ...
... and the mouth saying Amen to this prayer will smile forever.
Remain in God & seek His face always. Amen.
In God I've found everything ...
The greatest man in history Jesus had
no servants, yet they called him master ...
Had no degree, yet they called Him teacher ...
He had no army, yet kings feared him ...
He won no military battles, yet He conquered the world. He committed no crime, yet they crucified Him. He was buried in a tomb, yet He lives today. I feel honored to serve such a Leader who loves us!

ReplyDelete...and Amen!
ReplyDeleteLovely way to start my day here at your blog. Incredible. I would love to see this...Balisha
ReplyDeleteWe actually have a similar large cross in southern Illinois, near the crossroads of two major interstates in Effingham, Illinois. They don't have all of the wonderful carvings/statues though but the cross stands as an inspiring reminder of our Lord and also the Christian freedom we've been blessed with in this nation. I agree that we're losing the battle here - there are many who are daily trying to take away those freedoms. Not so funny thing is though that they want THEIR freedoms to remain. Every other belief and lifestyle is celebrated. Food for thought. Time for us Christians to speak up and be bold.
ReplyDeleteHope you're having a beautiful week,
Linda
THAT was beautiful and love the statues and the emotions they portray. Thank you
ReplyDeleteOh I would love to see that display with my OWN eyes:) Have a blessed day dear Marydon, HUGS!
ReplyDeleteIn this day and age it's so wonderful to know that there are still places like this that one can visit and pay homage to the King of Kings. I loved the words you wrote next to each picture, very inspiring and uplifting. Sometimes we tend to forget what HE is all about!! We have a place high on a mountain in town that depicts the stations of the cross and each statue is made of bronze. I've gone to visit it quite often through the years, just gives me such a peaceful feeling. xoxo
ReplyDeleteHard to see some of those pictures and the reminder of what He did for us.
ReplyDeleteWell done though.
blessings and good to see you. I am not out and about much these days.

ReplyDeleteThat brought tears to my eyes. I adore Jesus, and He is my best friend. That truly touched my heart, and the man that made these is wonderful. Today, on this Friday morning I am smiling, as I am so blessed to have found such a lovely friend.
