This vintage silhouette is (1) of a mere few that I kept, the other 600+ went to auction. I just couldn't bear to part with it.
Everytime I look at it, it brings back the memories of youth when Mother would tell us 'Santa is checking that list, you'd better be good .....'
This tree we had made special for Joshua's Civil War themed bedroom. It has a true Americana theme ... what young fella wouldn't love it. We leave it up all year in his room. Lights on ....
This is Joshua's first baking experience for Christmas in 1993. We get so tickled as memories flood of that disastrous day in the kitchen ... we had flour, dough & sprinkles everywhere ... he wore as much flour as the recipe called for ... what fun we had.
Just gotta LICK that good stuff ... no wasting here!
Look Mini, I baked!
Isn't that ecstasy ... look at those eyes, he's in heaven!
MERRY CHRISTMAS & loving fun memories to you & your wee ones.
PS Please pray for little Andrew & his family, he passed away.

Thanks for becoming a Follower at Small Reflections. Today is my first opportunity to check out your blog. I enjoyed checking out several of your posts and listening to Josh Groban singing. Usually I have the sound off so I don't hear music, but I was working on musical links for my T13 this morning and didn't turn it off. I love the photos of Joshua baking ... what a QT! So sorry to learn about Andrew's passing. I'll include the family in my prayers. I look forward to returning as time permits.
ReplyDeleteHugs and blessings,
Oh, this is such a sweet, but very sad post. I'm so sorry. Andrew and his family will stay in my prayers and thoughts...so very heartbreaking. Hugs, Paulette
