May she fly high & proud forever.
This flag is in our front yard. Today we had our first snowfall ...
On the blushingroseboutique.blogspot.com I did a post today & yesterday on a WWII historical piece, if you'd like to join me ... also, a wonderful story about the eagle, Challenger, that is just fascinating.
Have a wonderful Sunday.
HI Marydon,
ReplyDeleteYour Mom's Christmas treasures are wonderful :) Love how they are displayed.
Love the first snow...the photos are great. It's just COLD here..no snow yet.
Warmly,
Deb :)
As always sweet lady, your photos are beautiful... hope you are feeling better tonight... xoxo Julie Marie
ReplyDeleteWow, you got a lot of snow!!! Lucky you! We got a dusting that was gone at noon...but I loved it.
ReplyDeleteMerry Christmas!
Marcie
Lovely first snow photos and, like you, I'm all about thanking our military folks. When I read "our" president made a crass statement re. our all volunteer military, I was so upset. Only an ungrateful heart, a man who thinks the world owes him, a man who believes in himself more than anyone/anything else, could make such a stupid remark. An ungrateful heart makes a person's soul sick and what they do and how they do it is colored by negativity.
ReplyDeleteMy nephew recently arrived in Afghanistan for a 13 month tour; I'm putting together a Christmas box to send this week. It's a joy and privilege to send him something along with a little to share.
Merry Christmas to you and yours!
Wow!! What a lotta snow! We were supposed to get some and we did, a light flurry.
ReplyDeleteThank you for becoming one of my followers!!
Beautiful tribute to deserving protectors. Love the pictures.
ReplyDeleteThanks for your tribute, and I love the pictures.

OMG the snow is beautiful! Thanks so much for sharing. Warm hugs, Esther
ReplyDeleteYour snow pictures are so beautiful! You could make Christmas cards from them. :-) We don't get snow where I am in California, so it's quite enjoyable to see what real winters look like (well, we are two weeks away from winter...). Thank you for visiting my blog today, too!
ReplyDeleteSharon :-)
Love the snow photos...hopefully we will have some soon. You have a very nice blog.
ReplyDeleteYour snow photos are beautiful, Marydon. I'm in no hurry to get snow here yet, though. I'm sure it will arrive eventually, and then I'll be wanting spring! HA! :)
ReplyDeleteLovely photos! And so appropriate for reading today. Because of Dec. 7, 1941.
