Our pride & joy ... Emery, our son, ran the Marine Marathon last week doing a 3 hr. 9 min race, his best run for the MM, tho his best time running a marathon is 3 hr. 6 min.
Our other pride & joy, Ansel Emery, age 9, ran his first race Saturday, the Cardinal 5K race (3.6 miles) in 33 minutes without having to stop & rest or slow down one bit.
Emery is holding Ansel up above the crowd for our pictures
(far left).
There were over 1,000 runners.
Rounding the bend ...
Father & son, the pride & joys of our lives ...
Emery is the best Father a child could ask for ... Ansel is the most wonderful, sweet young man ... we are so proud of them both.
